Fantasy Analysis
Elam played his first NFL season with Dallas in 2006, but he was mainly a reserve defensive back and special teams player. He departed for the Jets before a two-year stint in Cleveland -- his best seasons as a pro. Elam should be in line to start in Dallas opposite Gerald Sensabaugh, as 2010 starter Alan Ball is likely to move from free safety to cornerback. Elam should be able to put up solid numbers once again in 2011, so he's worth a late-round pick in IDP Fantasy formats. (Updated 08/04/2011).
