(2/28/13) The Texans' official team site reports linebacker Darryl Sharpton said his hip injury is "100 percent healed up." He missed nine games last year including the first six weeks of the season.

(1/1/13) The Texans placed linebacker Darryl Sharpton on injured reserve Tuesday with a troublesome hip issue. Sharpton appeared in just seven games for Houston this season and racked up 28 tackles. Houston signed linebacker Mister Alexander to take his place on the roster.

| If you're looking for a Fantasy sleeper, Darryl Sharpton is a name to know. He's expected to start at inside linebacker next to Brian Cushing, but he's been penciled in there in the past only to miss time with injuries. Sharpton hasn't played much over his career (74 tackles and a sack in 27 games) but should be in the mix to start in Houston. He's worth a late pick in deeper leagues. (Updated 4/26/13) |
