| Fantasy Analysis |
Usually rotator cuff injuries require surgery, but there has been no announcement from Bennett or the Seahawks regarding his injury or a possible timetable for his return. This is obviously something owners will have to keep an eye on in the coming weeks to see if he will be ready to roll by the time training camp rolls around. Bennett finished as a No. 3 Fantasy DL last season on the strength of lots of playing time and generating nine sacks; he only had 41 total tackles. As long as he is healthy, owners can once again consider the 27-year-old a No. 3 Fantasy DL heading into next season. (Updated 3/25/13). |
| Michael Bennett put up career-best numbers in 2012 (nine sacks, three forced fumbles, 41 total tackles) but could only snare a one-year deal from the Seahawks this spring. It was reported Bennett had a torn rotator cuff and that could have harpooned what would have otherwise been a lucrative market for him. A solid year with the Seahawks should bring more rewards in the following offseason. For Fantasy purposes, though, he's not productive enough to call anything more than a late-round pick.
