Angerer has been a tackling machine for the Colts in 2011. He usually doesn't get many other stats, but his tackle counts keep him as a viable Fantasy start in IDP formats. (Updated 12/18/2011).
Pat Angerer might have been the most reliable Fantasy option for the Colts last season, and he'll be in prime position to be an impact player in 2012. Angerer totaled 148 tackles with a sack, three passes defensed, an interception and a pair of forced fumbles. Though he didn't finish as an elite Fantasy linebacker, he's got the potential to get there after making a total of 236 tackles in two seasons. The Colts are moving toward a 3-4 scheme, and he'll be in the middle of it, making him a candidate for well over 100 tackles again. We wouldn't hesitate drafting him as a No. 2 linebacker with a mid-round pick. (Updated 4/23/12)
