(3/13/14) The Bears have signed defensive end Willie Young to a three-year deal, the team announced Thursday.
Young emerged for the Lions last year starting 15 games and picking up three sacks and five passes defensed along with 47 total tackles. He had far more of an impact than that sounds, racking up 48 quarterback pressures according to ProFootballFocus.com.

(8/26/12) Lions defensive lineman Willie Young has been a standout player for Detroit this preseason. He has a sack, interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery in three preseason games, and is beginning to emerge in what is an already deep defensive line rotation. "He makes a lot of plays," head coach Jim Schwartz said, per MLive.com. "The biggest thing is just playing. It's one thing to make plays, but it's another thing to make plays you should make."
