| Laurinaitis active for Week 17 |

(12/30/12) St. Louis linebacker James Laurinaitis is starting in the Week 17 season finale at Seattle. He was a slight question mark for the Sunday game as he continues to deal with a nagging back injury. Laurinaitis has yet to miss any playing time this season, however.

| James Laurinaitis remains one of the defensive bright spots for the Rams and Fantasy owners. Laurinaitis had 142 total tackles in 2012 with 117 solo. He now has at least 114 total tackles in all four years of his career, with 142 in each of the past two seasons. Last year, he also added two interceptions, something he had done three times, but he had a career-low 0.5 sacks. Still, he remains a solid No. 1 linebacker in all IDP leagues, and he's worth drafting with a mid-round pick. (Updated 4/26/13) |
