Fantasy Analysis
Laurinaitis doesn't help much in other categories, but few linebackers can offer tackles in such quantities on a consistent basis. He will go into next season as one of the top LB options for owners in IDP formats. (Updated 01/01/2012).
James Laurinaitis remains one of the bright spots on an otherwise bad defense for the Rams. Laurinaitis had 142 total tackles in 2011 with 105 solo. He now has 376 total tackles in his career with eight sacks, five interceptions and three fumble recoveries. He is a solid No. 1 linebacker in all IDP leagues and he's worth drafting with a mid-round pick. Laurinaitis is a tackle machine and that's what makes him attractive to Fantasy owners. This is a contract year for Laurinaitis and we hope he takes advantage of it with a big season. (Updated 4/16/12)
