McCourty is one of the most reliable players on defense for the Patriots. His production went down a bit last season, after making it to the Pro Bowl his rookie year. The 25-year-old racked up 82 tackles, five interceptions, and four fumbles forced in 2012 and should be ready for camp. We'll continue to keep an eye on his progress moving forward. Consider him a solid IDP option deeper formats in 2013. (Updated 4/1/13). |
| Devin McCourty was moved to safety for the Patriots in 2012 and played at a high level. He had 82 total tackles (65 solo) with one sack, five interceptions, 13 pass defenses and one forced fumble. He now has two years in his past three with at least five interceptions and three years in a row with at least 80 total tackles. McCourty should be considered a solid starting option in all IDP leagues, and we would draft him with a late-round pick. (Updated 4/26/13) |
