Preseason Outlook

Ringer lands on IR: Tennessee placed RB Javon Ringer on injured reserve Tuesday after he suffered a broken hand in Week 14 against New Orleans. The Titans signed RB Quinn Johnson to take his place on the active roster, according to The Tennessean. (Updated 12/20/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
The season-ending move was hardly a surprise as Ringer was expected to miss the rest of the season after being sidelined for Week 15 against Indianapolis. Ringer had tallied less than 10 carries in each of his past six games, including two outings without an attempt, as he had been overshadowed by the re-emergence of RB Chris Johnson. Fantasy owners should release Ringer in all formats. (Updated 12/20/2011).
