Preseason Outlook

Saints sign QB Daniel: Quarterback Chase Daniel agreed to a one-year deal with the Saints on Monday, the team announced. Daniel's deal is worth $1 million with a $300,000 signing bonus, TheSidelineView.com reports. There's little doubt that Daniel will remain the backup behind Drew Brees. Daniel was a restricted free agent, but this deal means no tender was needed. (Updated 03/12/2012)
