Chiefs make four cuts

News: The Kansas City Chiefs waived LS Thomas Gafford, WR C.J. Jones, DT T.J. Jackson and LB Darrell Robertson on Friday. Gafford played in nine games as Kansas City's long snapper in 2008, while Jackson saw duty in four games for the Chiefs a year ago.
Analysis: None of these players have any Fantasy value while they are not with a team. Ignore them all on Draft Day.

Bears let go of Gafford

News: The Bears announced the following cuts Saturday: Zac Atterberry, Dan Bazuin, Leonard Peters, Lousaka Polite, Mike Hass, Ryan Poles, Cody Balogh, Tyler Reed, P.J. Pope, Thomas Gafford, Nick Osborn and Chester Adams.
Analysis: Clearly, none of these players were being considered for significant playing time anyway. They may clear waivers and could be on the practice squad, but won't be worth owning in Fantasy.

Packers cut TE Gafford

News: The Green Bay Packers announced the signing of Ryan Grant on Sunday, a day after the running back and team agreed to a four-year deal worth up to $30 million. To make room for Grant on the 80-man roster, the Packers waived long snapper Thomas Gafford -- ending Gafford's competition with J.J. Jansen to replace veteran long snapper Rob Davis, who retired after last season to take a job in the Packers' front office.
Analysis: Gafford has been in Packers camp in the past and has yet to make it onto the official 53-man roster. As nothing more than a long snapper, Gafford doesn't have any Fantasy appeal.

TE Gafford done with Packers

News: The Packers released the following players: Fullback A.J. Cooper, long snapper Thomas Gafford, wide receiver Chad Lucas, defensive end Montez Murphy, defensive tackle Jerome Nichols, wide receiver Calvin Russell, cornerback Jerron Wishom and quarterback Brian Wrobel.
Analysis: He will have to catch on with another team before being considered for Fantasy use again.
