Broncos announce Super Bowl inactives

(2/2/2014) The Broncos listed defensive tackle Sione Fua (calf), cornerback Quentin Jammer, tight end Joel Dreessen, running back Ronnie Hillman, guard Chris Kuper, offensive tackle Vinston Painter and quarterback Zac Dysert as inactive for the Super Bowl.

With Hillman inactive, rookie C.J. Anderson will serve as the No. 3 running back. Cornerback Marquice Cole replaces Jammer on the active roster.

(1/17/2014) The Broncos should be at full strength for the AFC Championship game against New England. All eight players on their Friday injury report are probable, including quarterback Peyton Manning (ankle) and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (calf).

The others are safeties Duke Ihenacho (knee) and Mike Adams (thigh), tight end Joel Dreessen (knee), tackle Winston Justice (finger), guard Chris Kuper (ankle) and cornerback Kayvon Webster (thumb).


Only one Bronco not a full practice participant on Wednesday

(1/15/2014) The Broncos are in fine shape heading into their AFC title game Sunday against New England. All but one player on their Wednesday injury report was a full participant in practice. That was safety Mike Adams (thigh).

Those who practiced in full include quarterback Peyton Manning (ankle). Ther others are tight end Joel Dreessen (knee), safety Duke Ihenacho (knee), tackle Winston Justice (finger), guard Chris Kuper (ankle) and cornerback Kayvon Webster (thumb).

(1/10/2014) The Broncos have placed 10 players on their injury report for their Sunday playoff game against San Diego, but all but defensive end Derek Wolfe (illness) are probable. Wolfe will not play.

The offensive probables include quarterback Peyton Manning (ankle) and wideout Wes Welker (concussion). The others are tight end Joel Dreessen (knee) and offensive linemen Steve Vallos (concussion), Chris Kuper (ankle) and tackle Winston Justice (finger).

The defensive probables are defensive backs Kayvon Webster (thumb), Champ Bailey (shoulder) and Duke Ihenacho (concussion).

(12/27/2013) The Broncos have listed nine offensive players as probable for their Week 17 game at Oakland. Among them are quarterback Peyton Manning (ankle) and pass-catchers Eric Decker (thigh) and Demaryius Thomas (neck).

The others are tight ends Jacob Tamme, Joel Dreessen and Virgil Green with knee injuries, wideout Trindon Hollday (shoulder) and offensive linemen Winston Justice (finger) and Chris Kuper (ankle).

(12/22/2013) In addition to wide receiver Wes Welker, who is expected to miss the rest of the regular season with a concussion, the Broncos' list of inactives for Week 16 at Houston includes defensive back Kayvon Webster (thumb), offensive lineman Chris Kuper (ankle), defensive lineman Derek Wolfe (illness), quarterback Zac Dysert, running back C.J. Anderson and defensive lineman Sione Fua. Dysert, Anderson and Fua are all healthy scratches.

Plenty of injuries among Broncos' inactives

(12/12/2013)  The Broncos inactive list for Week 15 against the Chargers is heavy with injured players Thursday, as wide receiver Wes Welker (concussion), defensive back Champ Bailey (foot), running back C.J. Anderson (illness) and defensive lineman Derek Wolfe (illness) were all unable to play Thursday.

Additionally, quarterback Zac Dysert and offensive linemen Chris Kuper and J.D. Walton were not in uniform for the game.

(12/11/2013) Several minor skill position Broncos and linemen are among the probables for their game Thursday against San Diego.

Among them are running back C.J. Anderson (illness), wide receiver Trindon Holliday (shoulder), tight end Joel Dreessen (knee) and offensive linemen Chris Kuper (ankle), J.D. Walton (ankle) and Winston Justice (finger).

The defensive probables are backs Omar Bolden (shoulder), David Bruton (shoulder) and Mike Adams (thumb) and end Malik Jackson (knee).

(12/8/2013) The Broncos have made CB Champ Bailey, OG Chris Kuper, DL Derek Wolfe, C J.D. Walton, RB Ronnie Hillman, WR Trindon Holliday and QB Zac Dysert inactive for Week 14 against the Titans.

Bailey is dealing with a fott injury, but was able to take part in full practice Thursday and Friday. Holliday was unable to practice until Friday, and was limited.

(12/6/2013) Thirteen of 16 players on the Broncos injury report released on Friday are probable. Among them are key offensive standouts such as quarterback Peyton Manning (ankle), running back Knowshon Moreno (ankle), tight end Julius Thomas (knee) and wideout Demaryius Thomas  (ankle).

The other offensive players listed among the probables are tight end Joel Dreessen (knee) and offensive linemen Chris Kuper (ankle), J.D. Walton (ankle) and Winston Justice (finger).

The defensive probables are safety David Bruton (shoulder), end Malik Jackson (knee), Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (shoulder), linebacker Danny Trevathan (shoulder) and cornerback Kayvon Webster (ankle).

Both Bailey and Ihenacho appeared on the team's injury report. Bailey was ruled out Friday. Ihenacho was questionable with an ankle injury.

All four of the offensive lineup have been dealing with ankle injuries. Dreessen was sidelined by a knee injury. Trevathan had a rib issue.
