News: The Vikings continued trimming their roster Friday in preparation for the regular season and released the following players: running backs Lex Hilliard and Ryan D'Imperio; defensive linemen Trevor Guyton, Nick Reed and Jeff Charleston; and wide receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux.
Analysis: Some of these players were able to make an early impression in training camp and survive the first round of cuts. However, neither of them were ultimately expected to make a Fantasy impact this season and should be left on waivers at this point.

Analysis: Charleston has been inconsistent in the pass rush during his stay with New Orleans and started just one game last year. The 28-year-old has collected three sacks in each of the 2010 and 2008 seasons, but his Fantasy value is limited. He should remain ignored in upcoming IDP drafts.
