Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals rookie Troy Bienemann started four games and played in all 16, catching seven passes for 46 yards with one touchdown. He is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Analysis: This player doesn't produce enough stats on a regular basis to consider for Fantasy play. Leave him out of draft plans.
Bienemann gets first career TD Bienemann gets first career TD Updated 12/16/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals rookie TE Troy Bienemann caught his first career touchdown in Arizona's 31-24 loss to the Saints in Week 15. The one-yard grab was his only catch of the game. Analysis: Bienemann and his fellow TE Ben patrick both caught scoring passes for the Cardinals on Sunday, but not many people benefited as no one really knew which one would get more targets, which made both risky starts. Neither are worth turning to in Week 16 against the Falcons.
Bienemann, Patrick to split TE duties Bienemann, Patrick to split TE duties Updated 12/11/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals TEs Troy Bienemann and Ben Patrick will likely split the duties in Week 15 as Leonard Pope, who dislocated his ankle in Week 14, is out for the season. Analysis: Both TEs have four receptions this season, although Patrick has scored a touchdown, so you have to give him the Fantasy advantage for now. Honestly, neither player should be used in Week 15, as there are plenty of better options out there and who knows how many snaps each player will see.
Bienemann catches one pass Bienemann catches one pass Updated 12/9/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals TE Troy Bienemann caught one pass for 11 yards during a Week 14 loss to the Seahawks. He now has four catches for 30 yards in 13 games this season. Analysis: Bienemann was held off the stat sheet for nine straight games before hauling in a pass Week 14. That should say plenty about his Fantasy value -- he has none. Keep him off Fantasy rosters heading into Week 15 against the Saints.

Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: 49ers RB Terrelle Smith, WR Steve Breaston and TE Troy Bienemann al dressed, but failed to record an offensive stat Week 12 against the 49ers. Analysis: Most of these players have little to no real important offensive function for the Cardinals and can be left on Fantasy waivers at this time. The Cardinals play the Browns in Week 13.

Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals WR Steve Breaston, RB Marcel Shipp, TE Troy Bienneman, WR Sean Morey and TE Ben Patrick all dressed for Arizona's Week 11 win over the Bengals, but didn't record an offensive stat. Analysis: None of these players have any Fantasy value at this time and should be ignored in Week 12 when Arizona hosts San Francisco.

Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals TE Troy Bienemann, TE Ben Patrick, WR Jerheme Urban and WR Sean Morey didn't record statistics Week 10 against the Lions. Analysis: These players all sit too low on the depth chart to put up relevant Fantasy statistics. Keep all on waivers for Week 11 at Cincinnati.
Four Cardinals held statless Four Cardinals held statless Updated 10/21/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals WR Steve Breaston, RB Terrelle Smith, TE Troy Bienemann and TE Tim Euhus all dressed, but failed to record an offensive stat Week 7 against the Redskins. Analysis: Most of these players serve as either blockers, play on special teams or just serve as fresh bodies for the Cardinals. They have little to no Fantasy value at this time. The Cardinals are on a bye in Week 8.
Five Cardinals go statless Five Cardinals go statless Updated 10/14/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: RB J.J. Arrington, RB Marcel Shipp, TE Troy Bienemann, TE Tim Euhus and WR Sean Morey all dressed for the Cardinals in Week 6's loss to the Panthers, but didn't record an offensive stat. Analysis: As Edgerrin James' backup, Shipp is the only one in this group that has any Fantasy value at this time. The Cardinals play at Washington in Week 7 and none of these players should be starting, Fantasy-wise.
Cardinals backups don't factor Cardinals backups don't factor Updated 10/7/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals RB Terrelle Smith, WR Steve Breaston, TE Troy Bienemann, TE Tim Euhus and WR Sean Morey did not record an offensive stat in Week 5 at St. Louis. Analysis: None of these players are in a position to help you in Fantasy play. Leave them on the waiver wire until further notice.
Arrington, other Cards don't stat Arrington, other Cards don't stat Updated 9/30/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals RB J.J. Arrington, TE Troy Bienemann, TE Tim Euhus and WR Sean Morey didn't record meaningful statistics Week 4 against the Steelers. Analysis: All didn't record statistics for a reason: these guys sit awfully low on the depth chart. Avoid them in all Fantasy formats Week 5 at the Rams.
Bienemann has one catch Bienemann has one catch Updated 9/23/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Arizona TE Troy Bienemann had one catch for 6 yards Sunday against Baltimore. Analysis: Bienemann is the No. 2 TE for the Cardinals and should not be used in Week 4 against Pittsburgh.
Bienemann makes just one catch Bienemann makes just one catch Updated 9/16/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Cardinals WR Troy Bienemann caught one pass for seven yards in Week 2 vs. Seattle. Analysis: Bienemann is a good story, bouncing back from a pair of torn anterior cruciate ligaments. However, he is not worth using in Fantasy leagues at this time. The Cardinals go to Baltimore in Week 3.
Bienemann gets onto stat sheet Bienemann gets onto stat sheet Updated 9/11/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Troy Bienemann had one catch for six yards in Week 1 against the 49ers in San Francisco. Analysis: Bienemann is a good story, bouncing back from a pair of torn anterior cruciate ligaments. However, he is not worth using in Fantasy leagues at this time. The Cardinals host the Seahawks in Week 2.
Bienemann to make NFL debut Bienemann to make NFL debut Updated 9/7/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: The Sports Xchange reports Cardinals TE Troy Bienemann will be making his NFL debut Week 1 at San Francisco. Bienemann's career was delayed by two knee injuries -- one as a senior at Washington State in 2005 and another last summer while with the Saints. He's from Santa Clara and grew up a 49ers fan. Analysis: Bienemann is a longshot to make an immediate impact with the Cardinals and is nothing more than another healthy body to trot onto the field. Ignore him in Fantasy leagues at this time.
TE Bienemann battling back TE Bienemann battling back Updated 8/7/2007
Troy Bienemann, TE ARI
News: Preseason games are far from meaningless for Troy Bienemann. When the Arizona Cardinals visit Oakland Saturday night, it will be Bienemann's first football game in 21 months. A former All-Pac-10 tight end at Washington State, Bienemann tore his left anterior cruciate ligament in the next-to-last game of his senior year, then tore it again six months later. "I've been waiting for this for a long time," said Bienemann, who grew up in Santa Clara, Calif., not far from McAfee Coliseum. "I'm going to treat it like a regular-season game. It's really all or nothing for me. It's my time to shine. That's one thing I can guarantee you: I'm going to be really nervous coming into that game." Analysis: Bienemann is trying to make the Cardinals as a free agent, and a strong showing in Saturday night's preseason opener would help. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt, who played tight end for nine years in the NFL, has high expectations for the position. As the offensive coordinator at Pittsburgh, he coached standout tight ends Mark Bruener, Jerame Tuman and Heath Miller. Even if Bienemann makes the roster, he is not Fantasy worthy. However, it is a tremendous story if he can come full circle.
