Jags add big man Marks

News: The Jaguars have signed defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks to a contract. He'll provide depth along the D-line.
Analysis: Marks isn't productive enough to warrant Fantasy use. Leave him off rosters.

DT Marks back at work

News: DT Sen'Derrick Marks took part in live action for the first time on Monday since undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. A bone spur hung down from his shoulder and cut into the top of his bicep tendon before the procedure. "It’s healed,” Marks said. “If I can do everything like I did today, I’ll feel good about it."
Analysis: Marks had a career-high 22 tackles in 2010 for the Titans, but he still rotates at defensive tackle and is far more important to the Titans than Fantasy owners. Ignore him in all formats.

Marks out another 1-2 weeks

News: Titans coach Mike Munchak said Monday that DL Sen'Derrick Marks will likely be out another week or two with a shoulder injury.
Analysis: Marks had a career-high 22 tackles in 2010 for the Titans, but he still rotates at defensive tackle and is far more important to the Titans than Fantasy owners. Ignore him in all formats.

Marks finally back at practice

News: Titans DT Sen'Derrick Marks (ankle) practiced Wednesday for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in the first game with the Texans last month. The two teams meet in Tennessee in Week 15.
Analysis: Marks has 17 total tackles and a rare interception this season, but he does not warrant Fantasy value this soon after injury.

Marks departs game early

News: Titans DL Sen'Derrick Marks left the Week 4 game against Denver with a right knee sprain. He recorded one tackle in the game.
Analysis: Marks has five tackles and an interception on the season. He is worth owning only in deeper IDP leagues, even if healthy.

Titans list Week 13 inactives

News: Titans WR Justin Gage, RB Javon Ringer, RB Alvin Pearman, DB Roderick Hood, LB Colin Allred, DL Jason Jones and DL Sen'Derrick Marks have all been listed as inactive for the team's Week 13 game against the Colts.
Analysis: With the exception of Gage, none of these players have any real Fantasy value and should continue to be ignored in all formats.

Titans' D-line hurting

News: Tennessee defensive tackle Jason Jones has been ruled out for the Titans' game at Indianapolis with a shoulder injury. Jones will miss his fifth game this season and third in a row because of the shoulder he first injured Sept. 27 against the New York Jets. Defensive end Jacob Ford (abdomen strain) had limited participation in Friday's practice and is questionable for Sunday's game, while rookie defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (ankle) did not practice and is questionable.
Analysis: None of these defensive linemen are worth starting in Week 13 since they're banged up. Consider other options off waivers.

Titans list Week 9 inactives

News: Titans RB Javon Ringer, DB Nick Harper, LB David Thornton, DL Sen'Derrick Marks, DL Jevon Kearse and DL Dave Ball have all been listed as inactive for the team's Week 9 game against the 49ers.
Analysis: Ringer is the No. 3 RB behind Chris Johnson and LenDale White. He has minimal Fantasy value when healthy. The rest of these players also have little to no Fantasy value.

Titans list Week 6 inactives

News: Titans DB Nick Harper, DB Vincent Fuller, DB Cortland Finnegan, WR Lavelle Hawkins, DL Jevon Kearse, TE Craig Stevens and DL Sen'Derrick Marks have all been ruled inactive for Week 6 at New England.
Analysis: The Titans defense is banged up Week 6. They are down three of their most valuable players in Finnegan, Kearse and Harper. Their absence makes it tough to start the Titans DST in Week 6. Make sure to keep all of these players reserved in Fantasy.

Titans list Week 3 inactives

News: The following Titans players are inactive for today's game at the Jets: P Craig Hentrich, LB Stanford Kegler, T/G Troy Kropog, TE Bo Scaife, WR Lavelle Hawkins, DT Sen'Derrick Marks and DE Dave Ball. Vince Young is the third quarterback.
Analysis: Scaife is the only one of the players the Titans have listed as inactive that has any Fantasy relevance. Vince Young is the team's third quarterback instead of the backup as he is battling an illness.

Titans announce Week 2 inactives

News: The Titans have announced their inactives for Week 2 vs. the Texans. Out are TE Bo Scaife, CB Cary Williams, DE Jacob Ford, WR Lavelle Hawkins, DL Sen’Derick Marks, DL Kevin Vickerson and QB Patrick Ramsey.
Analysis: Scaife is the only Fantasy-viable name in this group, but was doubtful coming in, so hopefully all Fantasy owners benched him already.

Titans list Week 1 inactives

News: The Titans have listed QB Patrick Ramsey (third QB), DB Ryan Mouton, RB Chris Henry, WR Lavelle Hawkins, TE Jared Cook, DL Sen'Derrick Marks and DL Dave Ball as inactive for Week 1 at Pittsburgh.
Analysis: There are no real surprises here. It's disappointing to see the rookie Cook on the sidelines because of an ankle injury since Tennessee would love to work him into the tight end rotation early this season. Still, he is hardly a blip on the Fantasy radar. Make sure to keep these players reserved for Week 1.

Marks sees field in preseason loss

News: Titans DL Sen'Derrick Marks made one assisted tackle in Saturday's preseason loss to the Browns. Marks, a second-round pick in the 2009 draft, was dealing with a foot injury.
Analysis: Marks was brought in to help offset the loss of Albert Haynesworth as a pass-rushing tackle. Marks will probably begin the season as a backup, limiting his Fantasy appeal in IDP leagues. It's probably best to let him go undrafted.

Marks has a chance to play Sat.

News: Titans DT Sen'Derrick Marks (left foot) was in a boot Thursday but head coach Jeff Fisher said he still has a chance to play during Saturday's preseason game against the Browns.
Analysis: Marks was a second-round pick in this year's draft. He was brought in to help offset the loss of Albert Haynesworth as a pass-rushing tackle. Marks will probably begin the season as a backup, limiting his Fantasy appeal in IDP leagues. It's probably best to let him go undrafted.

Titans sign draft pick Marks

News: The Tennessee Titans have agreed to contract terms with their second-round draft pick, defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks.
Analysis: Marks was the 62nd pick overall out of Auburn. He started 37 of 40 games during his three seasons and had 7 1/2 sacks and 30 tackles for losses. We don't think he'll play any kind of impact role with the team just yet. Leave him for waivers.

Titans sign rookie Marks

News: The Nashville City Paper reports the Titans agreed to terms Tuesday morning with second-round DT Sen'Derrick Marks of Auburn. Marks, drafted 62nd overall, is expected to help fill a role in the DT rotation and to help offset the free agent departure of Albert Haynesworth.
Analysis: Marks might earn playing time this year, but he will likely be a run stuffer and nothing more. Ignore him in all IDP leagues on Draft Day.
