Steve Smith among Ravens cleared to play

(12/14/2014) Ravens wideout Steve Smith is active for the game against Jacksonville after being listed as probable with an illness. Also suiting up for Baltimore are tight end Crockett Gillmore (back), safety Anthony Levine (concussion) and offensive tackle Jah Reid (hand).

(12/13/2014) The Ravens brought back running back Fitzgerald Toussaint on Saturday, signing him to the 53-man active roster, per the Baltimore Sun. The move was made to give Baltimore depth at running back, as Taliaferro is nursing a foot injury and is questionable for Week 15 against the Jaguars.

In a corresponding move, the Ravens placed offensive lineman Jah Reid on injured reserve with a hand injury. Reid's career in Baltimore could come to an end. He is set to be a free agent at the end of the season.


Ravens' Torrey Smith probable, Taliaferro listed as questionable

(12/12/2014) Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith, who practiced for the first time this week on Friday, is considered probable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. 

Previous reports from the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson said he'd be surprised if Smith played at all Sunday.

Other probables include tight end Owen Daniels, Anthony Levine, Daryl Smith and Steve Smith

Running back Lorenzo Taliaferro, tight end Crockett Gillmore and tackle Jah Reid are questionable.

(10/26/2014) The Ravens have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 8 matchup with the Bengals: tight end Owen Daniels (wrist), defensive lineman Chris Canty (wrist), running back Bernard Pierce, cornerback Chykie Brown, linebacker Arthur Brown and offensive linemen Gino Gradkowski and Jah Reid.

Pierce's de-activation comes as a surprise, but he's averaged 2.1 and 2.6 yards per carry in the team's last two games, though he's scored a touchdown in each. The Ravens' goal-line looks could shift to Lorenzo Taliaferro with Pierce unavailable.

Daniels and Canty had already been ruled out, but the Ravens are otherwise very healthy heading into the key matchup against the Bengals. Four players listed as probable are active for the game, including Steve Smith (not injury related), linebacker Daryl Smith (not injury related) and offensive linemen Eugene Monroe (knee) and Kelechi Osemele (knee).

(3/9/2014) Ravens offensive tackle Jah Reid and a friend got into a fight with another man at a Key West, Fla., strip club early Sunday, according to a police report obtained by NFL Media. The report accused Reid and his friend, Benjamin Buxton, of assaulting a pair of security guards who tried to break up the fight.

Reid was charged with two misdmeanor counts of battery and released on $2,000 bail. The Ravens said they're aware of the arrest and are gathering information. Reid is the third Ravens player arrested in less than a month.
