Analysis: McKinney is a veteran defensive lineman, but he has just 60 tackles and no sacks in 61 career games. He was just looking to make the Colts roster as a reserve lineman and will now miss the 2012 season. Continue to leave him off Fantasy rosters.
News: The Colts appear to be close to picking up a much needed addition to the team's 3-4 defense -- a nose tackle. According to the Indianapolis Star, Indy officials are finalizing details to add Brandon McKinney, who played for the Ravens the last four years.
Analysis: McKinney (6-foot-2, 350) will give the Colts the big body needed up front, but he won't help Fantasy owners as he puts up minimal stats. Keep him off rosters.
News: Baltimore QB John Beck, DB Ed Reed, TE L.J. Smith, WR Mark Clayton, DL Brandon McKinney and DL Kelly Talavou have been listed as inactive for the team's Week 14 game against the Lions.
Analysis: Of the players listed, only Suggs and Clayton have any real Fantasy appeal. Leave the remaining players reserved in all leagues until further notice.
News: The Ravens have declared their inactives for Week 11 vs. Indianapolis: QB John Beck, RB Matt Lawrence, RB Jalen Parmele, LB Terrell Suggs, DL Brandon McKinney and DL Kelly Talavou.

News: The San Diego Chargers re-signed offensive tackle Jeromey Clary, wide receiver Malcom Floyd, safety Steve Gregory and defensive tackle Brandon McKinney to one-year deals Tuesday. All four were exclusive-rights free agents. Clary moved into the starting lineup in December, taking over at right tackle in place of Shane Olivea. Floyd saw action in six games, catching seven passes for 97 yards. Gregory played in all 16 games, seeing most of his action on special teams. McKinney became a regular on the Chargers' defensive line rotation, playing in 14 games with two starts at defensive tackle.
Analysis: None of the aforementioned players post enough stats to warrant use in Fantasy play. Ignore them all for now.
News: The San Diego Chargers have announced their inactives for Week 2 at New England. TE Scott Chandler, DT Brandon McKinney, CB Paul Oliver, WR Eric Parker (toe), FB Andrew Pinnock (hamstring) and LB Anthony Waters are all inactive. QB Charlie Whitehurst will also serve as the No. 3 emergency quarterback.
Analysis: McKinney, Oliver and Waters are all useless from a Fantasy perspective in IDP leagues. The Chargers play the Packers in Green Bay in Week 3.
