Rams settling into three-receiver rotation

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(11/25/2014) The Rams "seem to have settled into a three-man rotation at wide receiver," reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The paper noted Kenny Britt played 59 snaps at San Diego, followed by Tavon Austin (50) and Stedman Bailey (43).

Chris Givens played just 14 snaps and was not targeted.

St. Louis hosts the Raiders on Sunday.

Rams receiving corps still being sorted out

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(11/24/2014) So who predicted Stedman Bailey would lead the Rams in receiving Week 12 at San Diego? Yeah, me neither. But despite entering the game with only eight catches all season, there he was catching seven balls for 89 yards and a touchdown.

It wasn't one of those fluky, flow-of-the-game-type performances either. The Rams only lost by three. Since the injury to Brian Quick in Week 8, no one had emerged as the go-to guy, and the recent change at quarterback only added the opportunity.

So perhaps we shouldn't be any more surprised by this performance than we were by Kenny Britt's four catches for 128 yards and a touchdown last week. Britt, by the way, had only two catches for 37 yards in this one, receiving six targets, which is exactly why you should sit back and see how this situation develops rather than commit big dollars to Bailey.

The opportunity is there for sure, but Rams aren't exactly built to have a prolific passing attack. And so far, no one has sustained anything from one week to the next. Even Quick had to do that before we bought into him in Fantasy.

Kenny Britt has long TD wiped out

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(11/23/2014) Rams wideout Kenny Britt caught two passes for 37 yards in the Week 12 loss at San Diego, but it could have been a much bigger day. Britt's 49-yard touchdown catch in the first half was erased by a facemask penalty.

Britt drew five targets, third-most on the team. He'll face the Raiders in Week 13.

Rams WR Kenny Britt comes alive in defeat of Broncos

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(11/16/2014) It was December 9, 2012, when Kenny Britt last exceeded 100 yards receiving in a game. He had not gone over 69 this season - that is, until Sunday for the Rams against visiting Denver.

In fact, Britt had blasted past that total in the first quarter, when he caught two passes for 96 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown reception in which he got wide-open over the middle. He finished the first half with four catches for 128 yards.

Those were his final numbers, but it was still an encouraging performance for Britt, who had been all but forgotten as a viable starting receiver in the NFL. He will try to take his momentum and run with it next Sunday in San Diego.

Rams pass catchers struggle Week 10

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/9/2014) The Rams pass catchers failed to do much Week 10 against the Cardinals.

Kenny Britt finished third in receiving, catching three passes for 31 yards. Lance Kendricks caught two passes, gaining 30 yards. Tavon Austin managed two catches, picking up 20 yards. Austin also had one rushing attempt, gaining 10 yards. Chris Givens also had two catches, but gained just 2 yards.

They'll take on the Broncos Week 11.

Rams WR Kenny Britt scores touchdown in Week 9 win

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/2/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt managed just 32 yards on two receptions Sunday but also scored a touchdown in his team's 13-10 win over the 49ers in Week 9.

Britt was targeted just four times, and quarterback Austin Davis' 13 completions were spread around to eight receivers, limiting any one player's overall impact on the passing game. Still, Britt did most of the work on his 21-yard score, catching a short pass across the middle and sprinting into the end zone to tie the game 10-10 in the second quarter. He's up to 18 receptions, 281 yards and two touchdowns going into next week's matchup with the Cardinals.

Rams' Donald, Dunbar, McLeod active Week 9

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/2/2014) Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald (shoulder), linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar (toe) and safety Rodney McLeod (knee) are active for Sunday's Week 9 matchup with the 49ers.

All three players were listed as questionable to play but will be available for the divisional matchup. The team also had nine players listed as probable, and eight are active for the game. That list includes wide receiver Kenny Britt (hip), guard Rodger Saffold (shoulder), centers Scott Wells (elbow) and Tim Barnes (shoulder), defensive end William Hayes (foot), safety Lamarcus Joyner (hip) and cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson (knee) and Marcus Roberson (ankle).

Hip injury limits Rams WR Britt

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/29/2014) Rams wideout Kenny Britt was limited by a hip injury in Wednesday's practice, reports ESPN.com. Britt is expected to be the team's No. 1 receiver now that Brian Quick is out for the season.

St. Louis visits San Francisco on Sunday.

Kenny Britt leads Rams in receiving during Week 8 loss

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(10/26/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt had a team-high 52 receiving yards on two catches during a 34-7 loss Week 8 at Kansas City. He was also targeted a team-high five times and got most of his yards on a 43-yard reception.

Britt has 16 catches for 249 yards and one touchdown in seven games. The Rams are back in action Week 9 at San Francisco.

Rams CBs Jenkins, Johnson questionable Week 8 in KC

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(10/24/2014) Cornerbacks Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson are questionable with knee injuries, according to the injury report released Friday by the Rams for their Sunday game at Kansas City.

The only other non-probables are defensive back Brandon McGee (foot) and center Tim Barnes (shoulder). Both have been ruled out.

Deemed probable are wideout Kenny Britt (ankle), running back Benny Cunningham (knee), linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar (toe), defensive linemen Ethan Westbrooks (hand) and William Hayes (illness), safety T.J. McDonald (concussion), tackle Rodger Saffold (knee) and kicker Greg Zuerlein (illness).

Rams WR Kenny Britt a non-participant Wednesday

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/22/2014) Rams wideout Kenny Britt did not practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. St. Louis visits Kansas City on Sunday.

Rams get offensive contributions to beat Seahawks

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/19/2014) The Rams got a slew of offensive contributions in their 28-26 home win over the Seahawks. Wideout Tavon Austin rushed five times for 16 yards and caught three of four targets for 6 yards. Receiver Chris Givens made a 30-yard catch, and wideout Kenny Britt caught two of three targets for 4 yards.

Tight end Cory Harkey added a 9-yard grab.

Kenny Britt held to 39 yards

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/14/2014) Rams wideout Kenny Britt caught three of six targets for 39 yards in the Week 6 loss to the 49ers. With quarterback Austin Davis unable to find a rhythm, Britt failed to post his third straight strong performance.

He'll play the Seahawks in Week 7.

Zac Stacy, Kenny Britt ready to face 49ers

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(10/13/2014) Rams running back Zac Stacy (calf) and wideout Kenny Britt (knee) are active as expected for Monday night's game against the 49ers. Both had been listed as probable.

Rams list Kenny Britt as probable for Week 6

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(10/11/2014) Rams wideout Kenny Britt is listed as probable heading into Week 6.

Britt is dealing with a knee injury. He was held out of practice Friday, but it appears that may have been precautionary. Britt was listed as a full participant in practice Saturday, and the club expects him to play against the 49ers.

Rams WR Kenny Britt unable to practice Friday

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(10/10/2014) Rams wideout Kenny Britt was unable to practice Friday.

Britt wasn't listed on the injury report Thursday, so the move comes as a surprise. Britt is dealing with a knee injury. His status will be determined depending on how much he's able to practice Saturday.

Kenny Britt catches touchdown in Week 5 loss

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(10/5/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt caught three of his six targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in his team's 34-28 loss to the Eagles in Week 5.

Britt was able to circle in front of his defender to snag a 30-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, reaching the end zone for the first time this season. He's managed 69 and 68 yards in his last two games, and Britt stands to benefit if Austin Davis can continue to play relatively well. The Rams will host the 49ers on Monday night in Week 6.

Kenny Britt catches five passes for 69 yards in Week 3

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(9/21/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt caught five of his seven targets for 69 yards in his team's 34-31 loss to the Cowboys in Week 3.

Britt was largely absent in the first two weeks of the season, catching his only target for 17 yards and gaining 12 yards on a rush attempt. He turned that around Sunday while also adding two yards on another rush attempt. Britt will look to get more involved in the game plan moving forward, starting with the team's Week 5 matchup with the Eagles.

Kenny Britt held in check by Tampa Bay

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(9/14/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt, who was held without a grab last week, failed to make any impact Sunday afternoon against Tampa Bay in Week 2.

Even with Tavon Austin sidelined with a knee injury, Britt was held in check by the Buccaneers' defense. He was held without a reception in the first quarter and limited to only two touches in a 19-17 victory. He came down with a 17-yard grab late in the third quarter and took an end-around for a pick-up of 12 yards in the fourth quarter.

The Rams will be back at home to host the Cowboys in Week 3.

Kenny Britt looking for fresh start in Week 1 vs. Vikings

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(9/3/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt ended an up-and-down career in Tennesse by catching only 11 passes for 96 yards last season. Reunited with former Tennessee head coach Jeff Fisher, the embattled receiver will look to begin his tenure with his new team on the right foot in Week 1 against the Vikings.

Britt has flashed big-play ability in the preseason, catching a 36-yard pass from starter Sam Bradford in Week 3 before the quarterback succumbed to a season-ending injury. He then tacked on a 32-yard completion from backup Shaun Hill on the team's second drive. If Britt can find chemistry with his new starting quarterback quickly, he has the opportunity to emerge from a muddled Rams receiving corps and become the team's No. 1 option in the passing game.

Will it happen? The Vikings were one of the worst teams in the league at defending the pass last year, ranking 30th in pass-defense DVOA, according to Football Outsiders. The results, however, look much better in the early-going this season. In the team's third preseason game, the defense held Kansas City starter Alex Smith to 140 yards on 14-of-24 passing with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

If that same defense comes to play Sunday, Hill may have nothing but trouble trying to move the chains consistently. But if the upgraded offensive line can keep the Vikings at bay, the Hill-to-Britt connection has the potential to surprise. Consider Britt a quality free-agent add in advance of Sunday's game on the chance that he and Hill show something.

Kenny Britt shows he can get deep

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/24/2014) Rams receiver Kenny Britt caught both his targets for 68 yards in Saturday's win over the Browns, including a leaping 36-yard reception to convert 3rd-and-25. Britt continues to play with the first-team offense and looks 100 percent healthy after a string of knee problems.

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(8/16/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt is dealing with a stinger, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Kenny Britt suffers apparent shoulder injury

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(8/16/2014) Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt appeared to have injured his shoulder Saturday afternoon against the Packers.

Britt couldn’t come down with a deep pass by Sam Bradford on the opening drive. On the second series, he snagged a 5-yard pass from Bradford in traffic, and went down with the injury. He was seen with no jersey or pads and with ice wrapped around his left shoulder on the sidelines while being attended by the medical staff, ESPN reports. The team has yet to provide any details on his injury.

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(8/4/2014) The Rams' first depth chart lists Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin as the starting wideouts, reports ESPN.com. Brian Quick and Stedman Bailey are the backups, with Chris Givens and Austin Pettis on the third string.
