News: The Vikings continued trimming their roster Friday in preparation for the regular season and released the following players: running backs Lex Hilliard and Ryan D'Imperio; defensive linemen Trevor Guyton, Nick Reed and Jeff Charleston; and wide receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux.
Analysis: Some of these players were able to make an early impression in training camp and survive the first round of cuts. However, neither of them were ultimately expected to make a Fantasy impact this season and should be left on waivers at this point.
News: The Vikings signed FB Ryan D'Imperio to their 53-man roster on Tuesday. To make room, the team waived TE Allen Reisner.
Analysis: D'Imperio will not be in position to put up useful Fantasy numbers as a fullback. He should not be owned in Fantasy as a result.
News: The Vikings resigned RB Ryan D'Imperio to the practice squad on Sunday.
Analysis: D'Imperio, a rookie out of Rutgers, does not figure to touch the ball once the lights go on for the season. He has no Fantasy value as a member of Minnesota's practice squad.
