News: Cowboys defensive back Danny McCray enjoyed his best performance of the season during Sunday's contest against the Eagles in Week 13. McCray led the way for the Cowboys as he registered a season-high 10 tackles (three solo) in a 38-33 victory.
Analysis: McCray has picked up the pace with 20 tackles in his last three games, as opposing quarterbacks keep picking on the 24-year-old. He has 57 tackles and an interception through his first 12 games and has marginal Fantasy value in deeper formats heading into Week 14 at Cincinnati.
News: Cowboys defensive back Danny McCray recorded the second interception of his career in Week 8 against the Giants. He picked off quarterback Eli Manning in the third quarter and finished with three tackles (two solo) in the 29-24 loss.
Analysis: McCray has 27 tackles through six games this season and has never been much of an option in Fantasy. Continue to ignore him in the majority of IDP formats going forward.
News: Dallas S Danny McCray did not practice on Monday due to an ankle injury but is expected to play in Week 6 against the Patriots. “I've been working out, rehabbing all through the bye week, so hopefully be ready by Sunday ... It's doing better.”
Analysis: McCray is merely a reserve DB for the Cowboys, who plays primarily on special teams. He should be left on the waiver wire in the majority of IDP formats, even when healthy.
News: Dallas DB Danny McCray left Thursday's preseason game against the Broncos with a shoulder injury. In the second quarter, he was hit by his own player on a busted play causing him to land awkwardly on the shoulder. McCray did not return.
Analysis: McCray is in his second year out of LSU, and he got solid time as a reserve DB and a special-teamer as a rookie last year. He amassed 22 tackles and one interception on the year. McCray has a shot to make the team once again in 2011, but he doesn't warrant much Fantasy value in any format. Ignore him on Draft Day.
