News: Tampa Bay LB Dekoda Watson recorded four solo tackles in Saturday's game versus Dallas. His biggest contribution though was picking up a Tony Romo fumble and returning it for a touchdown, ending his team's scoring drought. Despite his efforts the Buccaneers ended up losing the game, 31-15.
Analysis: Watson only has 19 tackles and one sack on the year, as he's used mostly as a special team player and backup. Even though he found the end zone, Fantasy owners in IDP leagues should not be starting Watson at this stage of the season.
News: With Quincy Black inactive, Buccaneers LB Dekoda Watson got the start in Week 5 against the 49ers. It was his third start of the season.
Analysis: Watson should be able to rack up some tackles against the 49ers but consider him as more of a low-end Fantasy LB in IDP formats at this point.
News: Bucs LB Dekoda Watson will start Sunday against the 49ers if LB Quincy Black (ankle) is unable to play, coach Raheem Morris said. "I've had a lot of confidence in (Watson) ever since last season when he stepped up and did the job," Morris said.
Analysis: Watson would merely be a low-end stopgap Fantasy option for Week 5 if he does get the start, so look to other IDP options before settling on the second-year player.
News: The Bucs have signed LB Dekoda Watson to a four-year contract. Watson was a seventh-round pick in this year's draft out of Florida State.
Analysis: Watson isn't expected to post many stats, so keep him off of Fantasy rosters.
News: In addition to Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy and UCLA DT Brian Price, Tampa Bay also drafted Vanderbilt DB Myron Lewis (third round), Virginia Tech DB Cody Grimm (seventh round), FSU LB Dekoda Watson (seventh round) and Stanford DE Erik Lorig (seventh round).
Analysis: None of these players drafted in Round 3 or later have much of a chance to start and be productive statistically. Keep them all off of Fantasy rosters.
