Report: Eagles will try to trade Brandon Graham

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(5/9/2014) After drafting pass rusher Marcus Smith in the draft, the Eagles will "probably" trade linebacker/defensive end Brandon Graham according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Graham's name came up in trade talks with the Dolphins earlier this offseason, though those trades also included Dion Jordan's name.

Reports suggest Brandon Graham is on the trade block

(4/11/2014) The Eagles are open to trading pass rusher Brandon Graham and he's been involved in negotiations already according to two separate reports. PhillyMag.com says the team is open to trading Graham and the Pottstown Mercury reports Graham's name came up in a trade discussion involving Dolphins pass rusher Dion Jordan.

Graham has 11.5 sacks over four seasons, tearing an ACL in late 2010 and forcing him to miss some time in 2011. He hasn't missed a game over the last two years.

Report: Eagles made an offer for Dolphins' Dion Jordan

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(4/11/2014)
The Dolphins drafted Oregon pass rusher Dion Jordan last April to be an asset on their defense. He didn't really deliver as a rookie as a shoulder injury preceded a season in which he had just two sacks and 26 total tackles.
The Eagles, led by former Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly, might have noticed. A "respected NFL source" told the Pottstown Mercury that the Eagles offered pass rusher Brandon Graham and a second-round pick to the Dolphins for Jordan roughly two months ago. The Dolphins seemingly declined. The paper suggests the Eagles might give their first-round pick this year for him.

Brandon Graham says he deserves to be a starter

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(1/7/2014) Eagles outside linebacker Brandon Graham, who had four sacks playing just 27 percent of the defensive snaps, told CSNPhilly.com that he deserves to be a starter, in Philadelphia or elsewhere.

“My biggest thing is I just want to be a starter and I definitely deserve that much,” Graham said. “As long as I keep working, I know that day will come.

“I feel real good going into next season. I think I’ve got pretty good film out there.”

The Eagles' first-round pick in 2010, Graham converted to linebacker when Philly switched to a 3-4. He's more suited to play 4-3 defensive end, but still has two years left on his contract. According to the report, Graham would become expendable if Philly drafts a pure 3-4 edge pass rusher.

Brandon Graham has two sacks in Week 13

by Nando Di Fino | Senior Fantasy Writer
(12/1/2013) Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham recorded two sacks in Sunday's 24-21 victory over the Cardinals. Graham now has three sacks on the season.

The Eagles play the Lions in Week 14.

Eagles get after the QB

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9/20/2013) The Eagles sacked Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith five times in Week 3, in a 26-16 loss. Three of those sacks came from a trio of specialists, as linebackers Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham, as well as defensive lineman Trent Cole each picked up a sack as their lone tackles of the game.

Graham picks up 2.5 sacks on TNF

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(12/14/2012) Eagles defensive lineman Brandon Graham had another monster game during Thursday's contest against the Bengals in Week 15. Graham registered 2.5 sacks, including once in the second quarter which resulted in a fumble. He finished with six tackles (four solo) in a 34-13 defeat.
