Eric Decker among Jets' probables cleared for MNF

(12/1/2014) Jets wideout Eric Decker, who was probable with a toe injury, is active for Monday's game against the Dolphins.

All the other Jets who were probable also are active, including guard Oday Aboushi (shoulder), linebacker Antwan Barnes (knee), guard Willie Colon (knee), running back John Conner (groin), defensive end Leger Douzable (ankle), linebacker David Harris (shoulder), safety Jaiquawn Jarrett (calf), center Nick Mangold (shoulder), defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (low back) and quarterback Michael Vick (wrist, illness).


Probables dominate injury report released by Jets

(11/29/2014) The Jets have ruled out defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (toe) and tight end Jace Amaro (concussion) for the Monday night game against Miami.

The team is otherwise healthy. All others on their injury report are probable, including quarterback Michael Vick (wrist) and running backs Chris Ivory (shoulder), Chris Johnson (knee), Bilal Powell (illness) and John Conner (groin). The other offensive probables are linemen Nick Mangold (shoulder), Oday Aboushi (shoulder) and Willie Colon (knee) and wideout Eric Decker (toe).

The defensive probables are linebackers Antwan Barnes (knee) and David Harris (shoulder), defensive back Jaiquawn Jarrett (calf) and defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson (back).


John Conner, aka 'The Terminator,' re-signs with Jets

(9/30/2014) The Jets signed fullback John Conner to a one-year deal, reports Yahoo Sports. He played for the team in 2010-11 before stints with the Bengals and Giants.

Jets coach Rex Ryan nicknamed the 5-11, 245-pounder "The Terminator" on HBO's "Hard Knocks" in 2010.

Giants get key contributions from role players in Week 11

(11/17/2013) The Giants received some key contributions from a couple of role players during Sunday's win over the Packers in Week 11.

Wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan caught a short screen and turned it into a solid gain of 13 yards in the second quarter. He finished with two catches for 21 yards. Fullback John Conner caught two of the three passes throw in his direction for only two yards. Tight end Bear Pascoe and wide receiver Louis Murphy each received one target but were both held without a catch in a 27-13 victory.

(10/27/2013) Giants wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan and fullback John Conner had minor contributions during a 15-7 win Week 8 at Philadelphia. Jernigan managed three catches (four targets) for 29 yards, while Conner had one catch for 12 yards.

The Giants are on a bye Week 9 before returning to action Week 10 vs. Oakland.
