Chargers' probables suit up

(12/27/2013) The Chargers are in fine shape heading into their Sunday clash against the visiting Chiefs. Their Friday injury report boasts just six players and five are probable, including featured back Ryan Mathews (ankle). The only exception is wideout Eddie Royal (toe), who is questionable and should play.

The other probables are offensive lineman Jeromey Clary (hand), linebacker Thomas Keiser (elbow), defensive lineman Sean Lissimore (shoulder) and cornerback Shareece Wright (foot).


Injured Chargers cleared to face Raiders

(12/22/2013) A slew of Chargers who were on the injury report are active against the Raiders, including linebacker Bront Bird (ankle), right tackle D.J. Fluker (ankle), center Nick Hardwick (not injury-related), linebacker Jarret Johnson (hand), fullback Le'Ron McClain (hamstring), safety Eric Weddle (hamstring) and cornerback Shareece Wright (foot).

All had been listed as probable except McClain, who was questionable.

(12/20/2013) The Chargers are in fine shape defensively heading into their Sunday clash against the Raiders. Just four players from that side of the ball are on their injury report - and they are all probable.

Included are linebackers Jarret Johnson (hand) and Bront Bird (ankle), safety Eric Weddle (hamstring) and cornerback Shareece Wright (foot).

(12/12/2013) Chargers defensive back Johnny Patrick (ankle) is the only player on the injured list unable to play in Thursday's game against the Broncos in Week 15.

Defensive linemen Lawrence Guy (toe), Sean Lissemore (toe) and Corey Liuget (knee) along with defensive back Shareece Wright (foot) and linebacker Jarret Johnson (hand) were all able to play through their issues.

(12/11/2013) The Chargers are in excellent shape heading into their Thursday night clash against Denver. Only wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) and cornerback Johnny Patrick (ankle) are listed as questionable, though both are expected to play. The rest on their injury report are probable.

The defensive players on that list are ends Corey Liuget (knee) and Lawrence Guy (toe), linebacker Jarret Johnson (hand), lineman Sean Lissemore (toe) and cornerback Shareece Wright (foot).

The offensive probables are wide receiver Keenan Allen (shoulder), center Nick Hardwick (neck) and tackle D.J. Fluker (ankle). 


Shareece Wright comes down with first career INT

(12/8/2013) Chargers defensive back Shareece Wright stepped up with his first career interception during Sunday's win over the Giants in Week 14.

Wright ended New York's chances with an interception with under two minutes in the game. He finished the game with two total tackles in a 37-14 victory.

(10/20/2013) The Chargers had a lengthy injury report heading into Sunday's Week 7 game at Jacksonville. Fortunately, most of those injured players were listed as probable. Running back Ronnie Brown (ankle), defensive end Corey Liuget (shoulder), cornerback Richard Marshall (groin), cornerback Johnny Patrick (chest) and cornerback Shareece Wright (hamstring) are all active, as expected, for the game against the Jaguars.

(10/18/2013) The Chargers released a long injury list on Friday, but the news wasn't that bad. Most of the players on it have been deemed probable for Sunday against the Jaguars.

They are running back Ronnie Brown (ankle), offensive lineman Jeromey Clary (clavicle), tackle D.J. Fluker (calf), defensive end Corey Liuget (shoulder), cornerback Richard Marshall (groin), cornerback Johnny Patrick (chest) and cornerback Shareece Wright (hamstring).

All were full participants in practice throughout the week but Clary and Brown, who were so on Thursday and Friday.
