Browns enter Week 12 with eight players on final injury report

(11/21/2014) The Browns ruled Jordan Cameron (concussion) and Marlon Moore (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Karlos Dansby (knee) was the only player deemed doubtful, while Jabaal Sheard (foot) and Johnson Bademosi (concussion) were labeled questionable on Cleveland's final injury report for Week 12.

Meanwhile. the following players were ruled as probable: Barkevious Mingo (shoulder), Ahtyba Rubin (knee) and Desmond Bryant (wrist).

(11/20/2014) Browns defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin was a full participant in Thursday practice after missing the Wednesday session with a knee issue.

The Browns have been devastated by injuries in their front seven. Defensive lineman Phil Taylor and linebacker Karlos Dansby are out while defensive end Jabaal Sheard is not expected to play Sunday in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, Desmond Bryant (wrist), Jim Leonard (hamstring), Barkevious Mingo (shoulder), Ahtyba Rubin (ankle), Joe Thomas (rest), K'Waun Williams (shoulder, neck) and Billy Winn (quad) were all labeled probable.

(10/23/2014) Mike Pettine spoke optimistically Thursday about the possible return to action of Browns defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin on Sunday against visiting Oakland.

Pettine declared that Rubin, who has been sidelined the last two games with an ankle injury, practiced well on Wednesday.

The Browns could certainly use a healthy Rubin. Their defensive line has been decimated by injuries in recent weeks.

Deemed questionable were star cornerback Joe Haden (hip), linebacker Paul Kruger (back) and defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin (ankle).

(3/1/2014) The Browns raised a few eyebrows earlier in the week by releasing popular veteran inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson and could be readying to unload defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin, per the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.

Rubin, who has been less productive since the team switched to a 3-4 defense, is slated to earn $6.9 million in 2014. He is heading into the last season of a four-year contract.

Rubin picked up his first sack of the season, along with a season-high eight tackles -- five solo. Rubin has 15 tackles in three games since returning from a calf injury.
