Bucs sign two ex-Bears

(2/14/2014) The Buccaneers have signed former Bears D.J. Moore and Steve Maneri. The team announced the moves. Moore, a safety, previously played for coach Lovie Smith in Chicago, landing eight interceptions in 2010 and 2011 combined. Maneri, a lineman-turned-tight end, is a blocking type who has six career receptions. 

Panthers make a slew of roster moves Monday

(10/21/2013) The Panthers announced Monday they claimed wide receiver Tavarres King off waivers from the Broncos. To clear a roster spot, the Panthers released cornerback D.J. Moore.

The Panthers also made a change to their practice squad, signing offensive tackle Andrew McDonald and releasing linebacker Jeff Tarpinian.

(10/13/2013) The Panthers inactive list for Week 6 against the Vikings is weighed down by the presence of four injured players. Running back Kenjon Barner, defensive backs Robert Lester and D.J. Moore, and defensive lineman Dwan Edwards were all unable to play in Sunday's game.

Joining them among the inactives are wide receiver Marvin McNutt, defensive back Josh Norman and guard Amini Silatolu

Moore has not practiced this week due to a knee injury. Moore was unable to play Week 5 due to the injury.

Moore has been dealing with a knee injury, and has not practiced any day this week. While the official injury report has yet to be released, it doesn't look like Moore will be able to go Week 6.
