Patriots' offensive line in flux

(10:09 am ET) The Patriots started two rookies on the offensive line Monday for the first time since 2005. Cameron Fleming started at right guard and Bryan Stork started at center; both were fourth-round picks.

Dan Connolly started the first three games at center before starting at left guard against the Chiefs. The shuffling continued throughout the blowout loss as New England sought to find a combination that could protect Tom Brady. Left tackle Nate Solder was beaten badly on Tamba Hali's strip-sack in the third quarter, then got benched for Marcus Cannon.

The others are offensive linemen Marcus Cannon and Will Svitek with ankle injuries, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (knee) and safety Steve Gregory (finger).

(12/13/2013) The Patriots have deemed nine players as questionable for the Sunday game against AFC East rival Miami.

The offensive players among them are linemen Will Svitek (ankle), Nate Solder (concussion) and Marcus Cannon (ankle), wide receivers Kenbrell Thompkins (hip) and Aaron Dobson (foot) and tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (knee).

Those on the defense are cornerback Kyle Arrington (groin) and Alfonzo Dennard (knee/shoulder) and linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee).

The healthy inactives are linebacker Steve Beauharnais, defensive end Jake Bequette and running back Brandon Bolden.
