News: Jacksonville activated linebacker Daryl Smith off injured reserve on Saturday, reports the Florida Times-Union. To make room for Smith, who was out with a groin injury, the Jaguars placed safety Dwight Lowery on injured reserve, ending his season with a foot injury sustained at Miami last week.

Miller, who missed most of last season with a knee injury and was having a solid camp, was hurt in the second quarter of the third preseason game against the Giants while making a tackle on Giants RB Brandon Jacobs. He limped off the field and was carted into the locker room. He didn't return. The injury may pave the way for rookie Dwight Lowery, a fourth-round pick, to crack the starting lineup. David Barrett, who has been working at safety for the past two weeks and played there an extended amount of time against the Giants, is also a possibility, as is versatile veteran Hank Poteat, who started nine games last season. Darrelle Revis is the starter at left cornerback.
Analysis: Miller has minimal Fantasy value in IDP leagues even when healthy. Keep an eye on his replacement, but the Jets DST is a low-end Fantasy option at this time.
