Cornerback Crezdon Butler has finally found a home after having been one of the final preseason cuts by Buffalo. He has been signed by the Chargers.
Butler, who appeared to be in the mix for a starting job with the Bills earlier in camp, has not started an NFL game. But he has taken 19 snaps for Washington and Buffalo.
The Chargers released defensive lineman Drake Nevis to make room for Butler Tuesday.

(8/30/2013) The Bills have officially released 18 players from its roster on Friday, the team announced.

Players released were linebacker Kourtnei Brown, running back Zach Brown, cornerback Crezdon Butler, guard Antoine Caldwell, guard Zack Chibane, defensive back Jordan Dangerfield, tight end Dorin Dickerson, running back Kendall Gaskins, defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert, cornerback T.J. Heath, wide receiver Brandon Kaufman, quarterback Matt Leinart, linebacker Keith Pough, tight end Nick Provo, tackle Zebrie Sanders, linebacker Brian Smith and center David Snow.

Crezdon Butler bounced from Bills

(8/30/2013) Cornerback Crezdon Butler, who appeared to be in the running for a starting spot, has been cut by the Bills, according to WGR-550. Butler looked like a viable candidate to replace Stephon Gilmore, who is recovering from wrist surgery. That competition has been reduced to Justin Rogers and T.J. Heath.

Butler was a fifth-round pick by the Steelers in 2010. He has never started an NFL game, but he did take 19 snaps during his time with the Redskins and Bills last season.
