Injured Chiefs able to play

(12/8/2013) Chiefs offensive lineman Jeff Allen (groin, knee), defensive lineman Mike DeVito (knee), offensive lineman Rodney Hudson (elbow), defensive back Ron Parker (shoulder) and running back Anthony Sherman (knee, ankle), who were listed as probable on Friday's injury report, are all active for Week 14 at Washington.

(12/6/2013) Seven Chiefs have been deemed probable for the game Sunday at Washington, including wide receivers Dexter McCluster (non-injury related) and Donnie Avery (shoulder).

The others are offensive linemen Rodney Hudson (elbow) and Jeff Allen (groin/knee), defensive end Mike DeVito (knee), defensive back Ron Parker (shoulder) and running back Anthony Sherman (knee/ankle).

(12/1/2013) Chiefs G Jon Asamoah, DE Mike DeVito, T Eric Fisher and LB Tamba Hali are active Week 13 against the Broncos. 

Fisher, Hali and Asamoah were all able to get through limited practice Friday. DeVito has limited Thursday, but did not practice Friday.

Fisher, Asamoah and DeVito are all starters, so the team will be missing some talent on the line this week.

(11/22/2013) Defensive players dominate the injury report released by the Chiefs on Friday. They are in various stages of recovery. Included is end Mike DeVito, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.

Listed as questionable on that side of the ball is end Tyson Jackson (abdomen). Fellow end Mike Catapano (ankle) is probable, as are defensive back Sanders Commings (shoulder) and linebacker Derrick Johnson (wrist).

His status for Sunday against visiting San Diego will be clearer when the team releases its Friday injury report.

(3/12/2013) CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports that the Chiefs have signed defensive end Mike DeVito to a three-year deal worth $12.6 million with $6.2 million guaranteed. He is scheduled to make $5.1 million in 2013. DeVito has spent his entire six-year career with the Jets. In 2012, he had 52 total tackles and one sack.
