In his first three seasons with the Ravens, Jones has gone from outside linebacker to tight end. There had been talk this offseason that Jones was going to fullback. Instead, he is going back to the spot where he began his NFL career.
Analysis: Last year, Jones finished fourth on the team with a career-high 19 tackles on special teams. He could move back to offense again with an injury, but it would likely be at FB instead of TE since the Ravens drafted two rookies to play behind Todd Heap. Ultimately, no matter his position, ignore Jones in all leagues on Draft Day.

News: Ravens OLB Edgar Jones traded his white No. 91 jersey for a purple No. 46 on Tuesday, reports the team's official website. The Ravens will attempt to move Jones to TE in order help with position depth. Jones dabbled on offense during offseason minicamps, where he saw brief duty at the position when a rash of injuries thinned the corps. It seems that this time, the move is for real. "We want to give it a little more of a full-blown experiment," said head coach John Harbaugh. "We want to give him a week or two in there to see how he does. Hes played well at linebacker, he knows the linebacker position. We feel like we can move him back there at any time and hell do just fine for us. But, we want to see if he can help us at tight end." Switching to 46 allows Jones to play at both spots during games because linebackers and tight ends can each wear numbers in the 40s.
Analysis: Ah, good old iron man football. The way the game was intended. Guess what? Jones could play eight positions and he still wouldn't rack up enough Fantasy stats to be considered viable in Fantasy play.
