Five from defense on Washington injury report

(9/19/2014) The Redskins could be without two players from the defensive side of the ball in Week 3 against the Eagles, as defensive lineman Kedric Golston (groin) is listed on the injury report as doubtful while linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee) and defensive back Tracy Porter (hamstring) were ruled out.

The team has just two other players listed on the injury report for Week 3 on defense, and both are expected to play. Linebacker Brian Orakpo (neck) and defensive back Ryan Clark (foot) both got through the week in practice and are officially probable for Sunday. 


Injuries dominate Redskins' inactive list

(9/14/2014) The Redskins announced their seven inactive players for Week 2 against the Jaguars, and included four players dealing with injuries.

Linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee), defensive lineman Kedric Golston (groin), defensive back Tracy Porter (hamstring) and tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring) were all sidelined as a result of their injuries. They were joined on the inactive list by quarterback Colt McCoy, wide receiver Santana Moss and offensive lineman Spencer Long

(9/5/2014) The Redskins have listed only four players on their injury report Friday heading into their Sunday opener against Houston. Only cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) and linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee) have been ruled out.

Deemed questionable are linebacker Brian Orakpo (ankle) and Jordan Reed (thumb). That said, both players were able to practice in full on Friday.

(8/28/2014) Redskins head coach Jay Gruden told reporters that linebacker Akeem Jordan may have a sprained ACL or MCL, according to the Washington Post. Jordan suffered the injury in the first half and was unable to return. His status remains uncertain for Week 1 against the Texans.
