Fred Jackson, Kyle Williams among notable Bills on injury report

(10/10/2014) Bills running back Fred Jackson (ankle) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (knee) are among the key players on both sides of the ball that have been ruled questionable for Week 6 against New England.

Jackson missed practice Friday because of an illness but is listed as questionable because of a nagging ankle injury. However, a source told ESPN he's expected to play on Sunday.

The following players have been deemed questionable by the Bills: DT Kyle Williams – knee
linebacker Nigel Bradham (knee), cornerback Ron Brooks (neck), safety Da'Norris Searcy (knee), linebacker Brandon Spikes (ribs) and safety Aaron Williams (wrist). Wide receiver Marcus Easley and guard Chris Williams were the only two players officially ruled out for the game,

(10/6/2014) The Bills announced Monday cornerback Ron Brooks was discharged from a Detroit-area hospital and was headed back to Buffalo. Brooks was taken to the hospital Sunday after suffering a neck injury against the Lions.

(10/5/2014) Bills cornerback Ron Brooks has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation after suffering a neck injury in Sunday's game against the Lions, ESPN.com reports.

Brooks suffered the injury on a special teams play, falling directly on the crown of his helmet after having his legs taken out. He was carted off the field and will miss the remainder of the game.

Brooks suffered the injury on a special-teams play, getting upended by a defender and landing squarely on his helmet. He had to be carted off the field but was able to wave to the fans on his way to the locker room.

Watkins and Goodwin will be catching passes from Kyle Orton for the first time this season.

Defensive backs Ron Brooks (illness) and Da'Norris Searcy (ankle) are also active after being listed as probable on the final injury report. Linebacker Keith Rivers (groin) is active after being listed as doubtful to play. The linebacker has been sidelined since Week 1.

No injuries hampering Bills' defense

(10/20/2013) The Bills defense is in good shape in Week 7 against the Dolphins, as every player listed on the official injury report was able to take the field Sunday. Defensive linemen Mario Williams (hip) and Kyle Williams (Achilles, illness), defensive back Ron Brooks (foot) and linebacker Manny Lawson (hamstring) were all able to take the field for Sunday's game despite their injuries.
