Cardinals lose three defenders to injury

(9/22/2013) Making the Cardinals' 31-7 loss Week 3 at New Orleans worse was the fact that they lost three defensive starters to injuries.
Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander was the first to go. He left late in the first quarter with a foot injury, going without a stat in the contest. Defensive back Rashad Johnson also left in the first half, having suffered a finger injury. He had three solo tackles before leaving. Linebacker Sam Acho left in the third quarter with an ankle injury. He recorded his first sack of the season earlier that afternoon.
The Cardinals visit the Buccaneers in Week 4.
