Koa Misi only Dolphins defender sidelined Sunday

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(9/14/2014) The Dolphins defense is mostly in good shape for Sunday's matchup against the Bills in Week 2, but they will be missing one key piece. Linebacker Koa Misi is inactive as a result of a knee injury suffered last week, though his absence was expected as he was listed as doubtful on the injury report.

Other than Misi, the rest of the team enters the game healthy enough to play. Linebackers Philip Wheeler (thumb) and Chris McCain (illness), defensive linemen Randy Starks (toe) and Derrick Shelby (knee), and defensive back Walt Aikens (hand) were all considered probable and are in uniform for the game.

Linebackers Chris McCain (illness) and Philip Wheeler (thumb), defensive linemen Randy Starks (toe) and Derrick Shelby (knee) and defensive back Walt Aikens (hand) are all probable for Sunday's game despite being limited at times during practice.

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/24/2013) The Dolphins defense is largely healthy for Week 12 against the Panthers, as only Dimitri Patterson (groin) was unable to play through his injury Sunday.

Defensive backs Jimmy Wilson (abdomen), Reshad Jones (groin) and Chris Clemons (knee, shoulder) were joined on the active roster for Sunday's game by linebackers Dannell Ellerbe (knee) and Koa Misi (knee), as well as defensive lineman Derrick Shelby (ankle).

Cameron Wake exits with leg injury

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(9/22/2013) Dolphins defensive lineman Cameron Wake had to leave Sunday's game against the Falcons in Week 3 on the opening drive with an apparent left leg injury. Wake limped off the field with the injury and was getting checked out by trainers. He was replaced by Derrick Shelby at the end of the drive and has yet to return to the field.
