Patriots release over 20 players

News: Aside from veteran receiver Deion Branch and long-time backup Brian Hoyer, the Patriots released the following players on Friday: safety Sergio Brown, receiver Jeremy Ebert, defensive lineman Marcus Harrison, receiver Jesse Holley, safety James Ihedigbo, fullback Eric Kettani, center Dan Koppen, linebacker Niko Koutouvides, defensive lineman Aaron Lavarias, safety Derrick Martin, tight end Alex Silvestro, linebacker Jeff Tarpinian, receiver Kerry Taylor, tight end Tyler Urban and safety Malcolm Williams.

Analysis: The veteran releases were mild surprises but none of the other players cut by the Patriots were considered reliable Fantasy options in the first place. Leave them all off of rosters.

	Pats make minor moves News: The Patriots waived first-year WR Robert Ortiz and placed rookie RB Eric Kettani and rookie WR Tyree Barnes on the reserve/military list Thursday. Analysis: None of these players come into the season worth consideration in Fantasy leagues. Ignore all three on Draft Day.
