(12/19/2014) The Bills listed the following players as probable for Sunday’s game at Oakland: Dan Carpenter, Anthony Dixon, Stephon Gilmore, Chris Gragg, Da’Norris Searcy, C.J. Spiller, Marcus Thigpen, Duke Williams and Jarius Wynn.

The Bills did not have any players listed as questionable, doubtful or out.

The Bills are listed as 6 1/2-point favorites.

Searcy, who left Week 14 against the Broncos and was unable to return, has 47 tackles and three interceptions this year in Buffalo. 

Defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee) is listed as questionable while kicker Dan Carpenter (groin) and defensive tackle Stefan Charles (quad) are probable.

(12/5/2014) Bills wide receivers Sammy Watkins (hip), Robert Woods (ankle) and Chris Hogan (hamstring) are among the notable probables leading up to Week 14 against the Broncos. Safety Bacarri Rambo (hamstring) and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (hip) were also labeled as probable.

The team will be without the services of tight end Chris Gragg (knee), wide receiver Mike Williams (calf) and defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee), as all three have been designated to out for Sunday.

(11/13/2014) The Bills have listed the following players as inactive for Thursday's Week 11 matchup with the Dolphins: running backs Fred Jackson (groin) and Phillip Tanner, cornerback Ron Brooks (groin), wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (ribs), defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee), linebacker Randell Johnson and offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio.

Jackson, Brooks and Goodwin were all listed as questionable to play, while Wynn had already been ruled out on the team's final injury report. Wide receiver Marcus Easley (knee) is active after being listed as questionable, as is wide receiver Mike Williams, who will give the team another option with Goodwin sidelined.


Report: Bills DE Jarius Wynn likely red-lighted for Thursday

(11/12/2014) Bills reserve defensive end Jarius Wynn, who missed Tuesday practice with a knee injury sustained Sunday against Kansas City, is unlikely to play Thursday night against Miami, per the Buffalo News, which is further reporting that the team could sign another player at that position.

His loss would leave Buffalo with just three healthy defensive ends, but its practice squad features two others in Bryan Johnson and Ike Igbinosun.

Bills defense shines in Week 8 win vs. Jets

(10/26/2014) The Bills defense racked up six turnovers and four sacks in the team's 43-23 win over the Jets in Week 8. The Jets fumbled the ball four times in the loss, losing two, while throwing four interceptions in a poor all-around effort from the offense.

Leading the Bills' sack charge was defensive tackle Kyle Williams, who delivered 1.5 sacks despite dealing with a minor back injury during the game. Defensive end Mario Williams also had a half a sack as well as a forced fumble, while defensive linemen Corbin Bryant contributed a sack and a forced fumble and defensive end Jarius Wynn added a sack of his own.

The Bills were able to intercept four passes, with three coming against starter Geno Smith in the first quarter and one coming from the arm of backup Michael Vick, who took over and played most of the game. Linebacker Preston Brown, cornerback Stephon Gilmore and safeties Aaron Williams and Da'Norris Searcy each picked off a pass in the winning effort.

The Bills head into a Week 9 bye with a 5-3 record before facing the Chiefs in Week 10.

(12/30/2013) The Cowboys DST produced five sacks in the loss to the Eagles, two apiece by defensive tackle Jason Hatcher and linebacker DeVonte Holloman. Hatcher stripped quarterback Nick Foles on one of his sacks, defensive end DeMarcus Ware recovering.

Defensive end Jarius Wynn also registered a sack for Dallas, which had just 16 sacks over its previous 12 games. The Cowboys DST added to the franchise record for yards allowed by giving up 366 in the 24-22 loss.
