News: The Rams announced the signing of defensive lineman Kendall Langford on Saturday night. "Kendall is a big, physical player who will be a great addition to our defensive line," coach Jeff Fisher said of the 6-foot-6, 295-pounder who spent four years in Miami. "He's tough and he always plays hard. We're excited about what hell bring to the rotation up front."
Analysis: Langford will help the Rams against the run but won't put up much in the way of stats. Don't count on him to help in Fantasy.
News: Miami DL Kendall Langford sacked Jets QB Mark Sanchez and forced the ball out, and Quentin Moses recovered it at the Jets 26. That would set up Brandon Marshall's touchdown catch giving the Dolphins a 10-0 lead with 2:48 left in the first quarter. That would be the only touchdown of the game in Miami's 10-6 win. Langford had four tackles on the day.
Analysis: Langford has 39 tackles and three sacks on the year for Miami. With Buffalo coming to town in Week 15, Fantasy owners in IDP leagues should consider Langford an extremely low-end option in the deepest of leagues.
News: Miami DL Kendall Langford has been dealing with a neck and ankle injury for a while now, but was deemed OK for Sunday's game against New York.
Analysis: Langford is a nice player to have on your team, but he doesn't do enough to be considered a Fantasy player to own. Continue to ignore him in all IDP leagues at this time.
News: Dolphins DL Kendall Langford, who suffered an ankle injury in the Week 10 win against the Titans, was able to practice in full on the Monday. Miami faces the Bears in Week 11 on Thursday night.
Analysis: Langford has 28 tackles on the season to go along with two sacks. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status over the next few days to see if he will be able to strap it up in Week 11 against the Bears. Langford has minimal Fantasy appeal when healthy.
News: Dolphins DL Kendall Langford sacked Patriots QB Tom Brady on Monday night in Week 4. The Dolphins still lost the game 41-14. Langford finished with six tackles, good for second-best on the team.
Analysis: Langford only had eight tackles on the season coming into the Monday night affair in Week 4. He now has two sacks on the season but his lack of tackles keeps him from being a viable option in Fantasy IDP leagues. Miami has a bye Week 5 and returns Week 6 to play at Green Bay.
News: Dolphins DB Gibril Wilson (seven tackles), LB Jason Taylor (six tackles, sack), DB Yeremiah Bell (six tackles), DB Vontae Davis (three tackles, sack), DL Kendall Langford (three tackles, sack), LB Akin Ayodele (three tackles, forced fumble), DB Sean Smith (two tackles, fumble recovery) all had nice stat lines in a Week 15 loss to Tennessee.
Analysis: Bell is a must-start DB in the majority of IDP leagues, while Wilson is worth a shot as a low-end DB in deeper formats and Taylor has some value in super-deep leagues. The others can all be ignored in Week 16 vs. Houston.
News: Dolphins DL Randy Starks (five tackles, half a sack), LB Jason Taylor (three tackles, half a sack), DL Tony McDaniel (two tackles, 1 1/2 sacks) and DL Kendall Langford (half a sack) all got to the QB in a Week 12 loss at Buffalo.
Analysis: Starks has emerged as a viable starting DL in deeper IDP leagues this season, while Taylor still has some value in larger formats despite his drop in numbers. The others can continue to be ignored.
News: Dolphins DB Will Allen (seven tackles), DB Yeremiah Bell (seven tackles), DE Kendall Langford (four tackles, sack) and DE Phillip Merling (two tackles, fumble recovery) all chipped in as Miami fell in Week 3 to San Diego.
Analysis: Bell is the only real Fantasy-viable option in this group and should be starting in all formats for Week 4 vs. Buffalo. The rest can be ignored.
News:The Sports Xchange reports that Dolphins DE Kendall Langford has two sacks in his first two NFL games, the first Dolphins rookie to have done that since the sack became an official stat in 1982.
Analysis: Langford beat out Matt Roth for the starting role in Miami and his early success means he's worth keeping a close eye over the next couple of games. If he continues to produce, consider him in deeper IDP leagues.
News:The Sports Xchange reports that rookie DE Kendall Langford, a third-round pick out of Hampton, has been named the starter on the left side of the line opposite Vonnie Holliday.
Analysis: Langford beat out Matt Roth for the starting role in Miami, but we doubt he's quite ready to be used in any Fantasy leagues.
