Chiefs list 10 players as probable for Sunday at Pittsburgh

(12/19/2014) The Chiefs listed the following players as probable for Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh: Allen Bailey, Jamaal Charles, Anthony Fasano, Zach Fulton, Phillip Gaines, Jaye Howard, Josh Mauga, Joe Mays, Chris Owens and Sean Smith.

Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe (illness) and linebacker Tamba Hali (knee) are the only players listed as questionable. The Chiefs did not list any players as doubtful or out.

The Chiefs are 3-point underdogs.


Four healthy scratches pepper inactive list for Chiefs

(12/14/2014) The Chiefs report more healthy scratches than injured players on their Sunday injury report. The three who are ailing are wideout Donnie Avery (groin), cornerback Phillip Gaines (concussion) and defensive end Allen Bailey (concussion).

The healthy scratches are quarterback Aaron Murray, offensive linemen Eric Kush and Laurent Duvarnay-Tardif and tight end Richard Gordon.

(12/12/2014) On the team's final injury report of the week, the Chiefs list defensive end Allen Bailey(concussion) as out for Sunday's game. Bailey missed last week's game as well. 

Cornerback Phillip Gaines (concussion) is considered as doubtful. Linebacker Tamba Hali, who participated on a limited basis Friday, is questionable for Sunday with a knee injury. Hali missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. He has five sacks and three forced fumbles this year.

The following players are listed as probable: Husain Abdullah, Donnie Avery, Jamaal Charles, Anthony Fasano, Junior Hemingway, James-Michael Johnson, Joe Mays, Chris Owens and Sean Smith

(12/5/2014) The Chiefs have ruled defensive end Allen Bailey and wide receiver Junior Hemingway out for Sunday's clash against the Cardinals due to concussion symptoms, per the team's official website. Bailey suffered a concussion Week 13 against Denver, while Hemingway left Week 12 against the Raiders with the same issue.

Both players will need to receive medical clearance from an independent neurologist before they can return to game action.

(11/15/2014) The Chiefs have signed defensive end Allen Bailey to a four-year, $25 million extension, a source told Pro Football Talk on Saturday. Bailey was a situational pass rusher in his first three seasons with the Chiefs. In his first year as a full-time starter, Bailey has registered 27 combined tackles and four sacks.

Chiefs defenders play big role in Week 4 win

(9/30/2013) Chiefs cornerback Dunta Robinson, defensive end Allen Bailey and safety Quintin Demps all had strong performances in a 31-7 win Week 4 vs. N.Y. Giants.

Robinson had five solo tackles, one pass defense and one fumble recovery. Bailey had three solo tackles and one sack. Demps had no tackles, but had managed one interception and two pass defenses.

Other defensive contributors were Sean Smith (four solo tackles), safety Eric Berry (two solo tackles, two pass defenses, one fumble recovery), linebacker Justin Houston (two solo tackles) and defensive tackle Dontari Poe (two solo tackles).
