Jaguars list nine probables on injury report

(11/29/2013) The Jaguars placed 12 players on their Friday injury report, but nine are probable for the game against the Browns on Sunday.

The offensive players so designated are linemen Will Rackley (illness) and Cameron Bradfield (bicep) and wide receiver Cecil Shorts (groin). Running back Justin Forsett (foot) is out.

The defensive probables are cornerback Will Blackmon (shoulder), defensive end Andre Branch (knee), safety Winston Guy (shoulder), linebackers J.T. Thomas (ankle) and Geno Hayes (knee) and tackle Roy Miller (shoulder).


Five Jaguars healthy enough to play

(9/29/2013) Jaguars defensive back Alan Ball (groin), defensive back Will Blackmon (head), defensive lineman Roy Miller (elbow/knee), offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri (knee) and linebacker J.T. Thomas (hamstring), who were listed as probable on Friday's injury report with various injuries, are active for Week 4 against the Colts.

(9/22/2013) The Jaguars have declared LB J.T. Thomas and DT Roy Miller active for Week 3 against the Seahawks. 

Cornerbacks Alan Ball and Dwayne Gratz have been ruled inactive.

(9/21/2013) Jaguars linebacker J.T. Thomas (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Friday and was ruled probable for Week 3 at Seattle. In addition, defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee) and cornerback Alan Ball (groin) both did not practice Friday. However, Miller was labeled as probable and Ball was labeled as questionable for Sunday's game.

(9/15/2013) The Jaguars have made QB Blaine Gabbert, WR Mike Brown, CB Dwayne Gratz, LB J.T. Thomas, TE Marcedes Lewis, DT Abry Jones and CB Marcus Burley inactive Week 2 against the Raiders. 

Gabbert was ruled out earlier this week. Lewis has been dealing with a calf injury, and did not play Week 1.

Thomas signs rookie deal


(7/27/2011) Rookie LB J.T. Thomas has become the first Bears draft pick to sign his four-year rookie contract. The 6-foot-1, 241-pound, sixth-round pick from West Virginia will get a dose of all three LB positions eventually. As a redshirt freshman, Thomas was arrested and suspended at West Virginia for transferring stolen property.

(5/6/2011) The Bears drafted Oregon DT Stephen Paea with a second-round pick in April's draft, highlighting three defensive selections. They also took Cal safety Chris Conte (Round 3) and West Virginia LB J.T. Thomas (Round 7).
