Titans place C Brain Schwenke on IR, make other roster moves

(11/25/2014) The Titans announced center Brian Schwenke has been placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

The team also announced they’ve signed offensive lineman Eric Olsen and promoted linebacker Dontay Moch from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.


Bengals make flurry of moves Saturday

(8/30/2014) The Bengals made a slew of moves Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Among those moves was the placement of guard Trey Hopkins on the reserve/injured list with a leg issue. Rookie quarterback AJ McCarron was put on the reserve/non-football injury list with a shoulder problem.

The Bengals also cut the following offensive players: tackles Dan France and Will Svitek, wide receivers Colin Lockett and Cobi Hamilton, center Trevor Robinson and running backs James Wilder and Nikita Whitlock.

Defenders waived by the Bengals include safety Danieal Manning, cornerbacks Onterio McCalebb and Victor Hampton, tackles Devon Still and David King and ends Sam Montgomery and Dontay Moch.

Cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris will begin serving a two-game drug suspension handed dowsn by the league.


Bengals unveil inactives for Week 2 of preseason

(8/16/2014) According to the team's official website, the following players will not dress for the Bengals against the Colts Saturday night: Wide receiver Marvin Jones, offensive lineman Andre Smith, defensive end Dontay Moch, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, defensive tackle Geno Atkins, tight end Tyler Eifert, quarterback Jason Campbell and linebacker Sean Porter.

(3/14/2014) The Bengals claimed defensive lineman Dontay Moch off of waivers from the Cardinals on Friday, bringing him back for his second go-round with the team. He had one sack in 13 games with the Cardinals last year and was cut earlier this week. Moch is a former third-round draft choice of the Bengals.

Bethel is dealing with a wrist injury. He was able to fully practice Thursday and Friday. Moch and Dansby were both able to fully participate in practice Friday.

(10/17/2013) The Cardinals featured a lengthy injury report for Week 7 against the Seahawks, but most of their wounded were able to take the field Thursday. Among those listed on the injury report, only linebacker Kenny Demens (hamstring) and wide receiver Brittan Golden (hamstring) were included among the inactives.

They were joined by tight end D.C. Jefferson, quarterback Ryan Lindley, linebacker Dontay Moch, guard Earl Watford and running back Ryan Williams


Cardinals defenders come through in Week 4 win

(9/30/2013) Cardinals linebacker Karlos Dansby, safety Yeremiah Bell and linebacker Dontay Moch were some of the standout players for the defense during a 13-10 win Week 4 at Tampa Bay.

Dansby had a team-high nine tackles -- all solo. Bell totaled seven tackles (four solo, two for loss) and one sack. Moch had two solo tackles, one sack and two quarterback hits. 

Other Cardinals defenders who made an impact Sunday were defensive back Tony Jefferson (seven tackles), linebacker Jasper Brinkley (seven tackles) and safety Tyrann Mathieu (six tackles).


Cardinals promote Dontay Moch to active roster

(9/23/2013) The Cardinals elevated linebacker Dontay Moch from the practice squad to the active roster after putting linebackers Sam Acho and Lorenzo Alexander on injured reserve. Moch was a third-round pick in 2011 by the Bengals.

Dennis Roland among many cuts by Bengals

(8/31/2013) The Bengals have announced that veteran offensive lineman Dennis Roland, who started 24 games for them in 2009 and 2010, has been waived.

The move was one of many cuts by the team on Saturday. The following players have also been released: wide receivers Cobi Hamilton, Taveon Rogers and Roy Roundtree, linebackers Bruce Taylor and J.K. Schaffer, cornerbacks Chris Lewis-Harris, Onterio McCalebb and Shaun Prater, offensive tackle Reid Fragel, safety Tony Dye, halfback Dan Herron, center T.J. Johnson, defensive end Dontay Moch, quarterback John Skelton, defensive tackle Terrence Stephens and guard John Sullen.

The Bengals also placed running back Bernard Scott (knee) on the Reserve/PUP list and linebacker Emmanuel Lamur (shoulder) on the Reserve/Injured list.

Moch done for the season

(11/2/2012) Cincinnati linebacker Dontay Moch will miss the remainder of the season after being placed on the reserve/non-football illness list on Friday. Moch has played in just one game since being drafted last year as he continues to deal with migraine headaches. "When he was injured, it didn't seem to be an issue," coach Marvin Lewis said. "When he was gone through suspension it supposedly wasn't. That's kind of the telltale sign."
