Bears release inactives for Monday Night Football

(12/15/2014) The Bears ruled the following players inactive for Monday's game against the Saints: kicker Robbie Gould (quad), safety Chris Conte (back), cornerback Terrance Mitchell, offensive lineman Michael Ola (back), quarterback David Fales, defensive end Trevor Scott and defensive tackle Brandon Dunn.

(12/13/2014) Bears safety Chris Conte is on the verge of sitting out Week 15 against the Saints after sitting out practice on Saturday, per the team's official website. He was the only player on Chicago's final injury report for their Monday game listed as doubtful.

Defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (knee), defensive end Cornelius Washington (ankle) and offensive lineman Michael Ola (back) were all deemed questionable.

Conte is dealing with a back injury. He left the game late in the third quarter, and was ruled out almost immediately. Conte finished with two tackles.

(12/4/2014) The Bears will have tight end Martellus Bennett and safety Chris Conte Week 14 against the Cowboys.

Bennett came into the contest listed as probable due to a foot injury. Conte was questionable with an eye issue. Both players will give it a go on Thursday.

The team will also have Tim Jennings, Kyle Long and Trevor Scott. All three players were listed as probable coming in, and were always expected to play.

(12/3/2014) The Bears released their injury report for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. Linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) is the only player ruled out.

Cornerback Tim Jennings (calf), guard Kyle Long (groin) and defensive end Trevor Scott (knee) are probable. Safety Chris Conte (eye) and defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (knee) are questionable. Defensive end Cornelius Washington (chest) is doubtful.

Tight end Martellus Bennett leads the list. He came into the contest with a hamstring injury, but will give it a go. Chris Conte and Kyle Fuller will also play, giving the team a boost in the secondary. Defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff is also expected to play.

(10/24/2014) Aside from safety Danny McCray (knee), who has been ruled out, and doubtful linebackers Jon Bostic (back) and Lance Briggs (ribs), the Bears are in good shape heading into their Sunday game at New England.

The only other Bear not listed as probable on their Friday injury report is tackle Jordan Mills (foot), who is questionable. The probables are wideout Wallace Williams (illness), safety Chris Conte (shoulder), tight end Martellus Bennett (hamstring) and cornerback Kyle Fuller (hip).

(10/10/2014) The Friday injury report issued by the Bears for their Week 6 game at Atlanta is headlined by the thumbs-down given to linebackers Lance Briggs (ribs) and Shea McClellin (hand). But they are not the only Chicago players ruled out.

Also red-lighted are offensive linemen Jermon Bushrod (knee/ankle) and Taylor Boggs (hamstring) and safety Ahmad Dixon (hamstring).

The questionables are linebacker Jonathan Bostic (back) and cornerback Sherrick McManis (quad). Safety Chris Conte (concussion), offensive lineman Roberto Garza (ankle), nose tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (concussion) and linebacker D.J. Williams (neck) are all probable.

Five Bears have been ruled out. They are offensive linemen Matt Slauson (ankle) and Roberto Garza (ankle), linebacker Shea McClellin (hand), cornerback Sherrick McManis (quad) and nose tackle Jeremiah Ratliff (concussion).
