Buccaneers list five as questionable for Sunday against the Saints

(12/26/2014) The Buccaneers have declared five players as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints including Bobby Rainey (wrist), Solomon Patton (foot), Robert Herron (hip), Isaiah Frey (ankle) and Dashon Goldson (shoulder).

Linebacker Mason Foster is considered doubtful with an Achilles injury after missing practice all this week.

The Bucs are 4-point underdogs at home against the Saints in Week 17.

(12/21/2014) Buccaneers linebacker Mason Foster injured his Achilles tendon and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Packers.

Foster injured the tendon in the first half of the game and was able to walk off under his own power.

(12/19/2014) The Buccaneers ruled running back Bobby Rainey (wrist) as probable for Sunday's game against the Packers. He was the only player on Tampa Bay's final injury report for Week 16 deemed probable.

Safety Major Wright (ribs) was ruled out. Meanwhile, the following players were deemed questionable: Cornerback Isaiah Frey (ankle), linebacker Mason Foster (Achilles), safety Dashon Goldson (shin), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (hamstring), tackle Kevin Pamphile (ankle) and wide receiver Solomon Patton (foot).

Linebacker Mason Foster (Achilles), defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (knee), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (hamstring), wide receiver Solomon Patton (foot), running back Bobby Rainey (ankle), tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back) and safety Major Wright (ribs).

Meanwhile, the following players were ruled as probable for Sunday: Tackle Anthony Collins (elbow), linebacker Lavonte David (concussion) and tight end Brandon Myers (calf).

Major Wright, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Luke Stocker and Crezdon Butler are listed as probable. The Bucaneers take on the Lions Week 14.

(12/4/2014) Buccaneers coach Lovie Smith said Thursday Mason Foster was excused from Thursday's practice for personal reasons and tackle Anthony Collins has an elbow injury.

Foster is also dealing with an Achilles injury and is questionable for Week 14 against the Lions. Collins missed Weeks 10 and 11 with a foot injury.

(10/8/2014) Buccaneers linebacker Mason Foster (shoulder) is optimistic about his chances of playing Week 6 at home against Baltimore, ESPN reports. Foster has been sidelined since Week 2 because of a dislocated shoulder but is expected to practice in full Wednesday.

"I'll get a chance to run around and hit people in pads," Foster said. "I feel good, so it's looking good."

The other questionables are safety Mark Barron (abdomen), linebacker Mason Foster (shoulder), defensive end Michael Johnson (ankle), defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (hand) and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (ankle).

(10/2/2014) Lovie Smith remains uncertain if Buccaneers middle linebacker Mason Foster will return from a shoulder injury to play Sunday in New Orleans, according to the team website, which is further reporting that the coach believes Foster is making progress.

Foster missed the last two games with the injury after starting the previous two.

Foster has 73 tackles and three interceptions on the season, two of which have come in the last three games.

The healthy scratches are defensive tackle Gary Gibson, safety Dashon Goldson (suspended), defensive end Steven Means, guard Patrick Omameh and running back Lonnie Pryor.

Foster has been dealing with a concussion, and was unable to return to practice. Nicks has only played two games this year due to a foot issue.
