by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(12/22/2013) Notable Colts players who posted some numbers in Week 16 include fullback Stanley Havili (a carry for no yards, a catch for 1 yard), running back Tashard Choice (an 8-yard carry in garbage time), tight end Weslye Saunders (a 6-yard catch) and tight end Jack Doyle (a 6-yard catch). Receiver LaVon Brazill was targeted on a deep pass that bounced off his hands in the second half that could have gone for a touchdown.

Colts sign LB Daniel Adongo, cut embattled TE Weslye Saunders

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7/25/2013) The Colts have signed linebacker Daniel Adongo, releasing veteran Weslye Saunders in the process.

Adongo is a former rugby player according to the Colts' official website and is called an "elite athlete" by general manager Ryan Grigson.

Saunders will serve an eight-game suspension for violating the league's performance enhancing drug policy this year, to be enforced even though he's without a team.

Weslye Saunders suspended eight games

by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7/18/2013) Colts tight end Weslye Saunders was suspended for the first eight games this year for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances, the NFL announced Thursday.

Saunders, who was kicked off his college team at South Carolina, started his NFL career last season as an undrafted free agent for the Steelers. The Colts picked him up off waivers when the Steelers cut him in October.

Saunders will be eligible to return to the Colts' active roster on Monday, Nov. 4 following the team's November 3 game against the Texans. He was a decent bet to make the team as their third tight end.
