(9/26/2014) The Raiders have announced their injury report for the Sunday game in London against Miami. As expected, linebacker Sio Moore (ankle), quarterback Matt Schaub (non-injury related) and wide receiver Rod Streater (foot) have all been ruled out.

Linebackers Miles Burris (foot) and Nick Roach (concussion) and cornerback Chimdi Chekwa (knee) are questionable while tackle Matt McCants (knee) and running back Maurice Jones-Drew (hand) are probable.

(9/24/2014) With Miles Burris (foot), Sio Moore (ankle) and Nick Roach (concussion) all recovering from injuries, the Raiders might have to start Kaluka Maiava and Bojay Filimoeatu at linebacker alongside Khalil Mack during Sunday's game against the Dolphins, according to CSNBayArea.com.

"We’ll continue to monitor that situation, but I’m hopeful that one or maybe two of (the injured players) could be ready," head coach Dennis Allen said. "We’ll just have to see how the week goes."

(9/23/2014) Raiders middle linebacker Miles Burris wore a protective boot at a community event in London on Tuesday. Burris has played every snap this season and has 20 tackles for the Raiders, who face Miami at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

The Raiders have not updated Burris' status.


Miles Burris healthy after lost season

(6/25/2014) Raiders linebacker Miles Burris said he's fully healthy after a 2013 season in which he was plagued by knee problems. He had knee surgery following his 2012 rookie season.

"There’s nothing like playing the game of football and playing the game of football healthy," Burris told CSNBayArea.com. "You’re always going to be nicked up but I’m feeling great and enjoying playing the game."

Burris made 15 starts as a rookie and finished with 62 tackles, 1.5 sacks, an interception and three passes defensed. He practiced with the first team at weakside linebacker this offseason, the report said.

(12/22/2013) Several Raiders who were on the injury report are active at San Diego, including safety Charles Woodson (ribs), linebacker Miles Burris (ankle), tight end Jeron Mastrud (wrist), linebacker Sio Moore (illness), guard Lucas Nix (illness) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (concussion). 

All were listed as probable except for Burris and Walker, who were questionable.

The lone exceptions are running back Jeremy Stewart (ankle/knee), who is out Sunday against San Diego, linebacker Miles Burris (ankle) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (concussion) who are questionable.

The probables include running back Darren McFadden (knee/ankle), who should return after missing the last three games, tight end Jeron Mastrud (wrist), linebacker Sio Moore (illness), guard Lucas Nix (illness) and free safety Charles Woodson (ribs).

Woodson left the Sunday game against Kansas City, but came back in late. Burris was inactive and has played in just four games this season.

Burris could work his way back into immediate playing time as his team prepares for a game Sunday against visiting Tennessee. He was among Oakland's top defenders in 2012 with 95 tackles.

The team will have three weeks to decide if they want to remove him from the PUP list.
