Absolutely," Woodson said.	Analysis: Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday the team is still discussing its emergency options. The Packers cut No. 3 quarterback Brian Brohm and signed him to the practice squad. Receiver Ruvell Martin was an emergency option in the past, but the Packers cut him. News: Charles Woodson has made his mark in the NFL for more than 10 years and most recently with the Green Bay Packers the last 2 1/2 years. The 32-year-old cornerback, however, was made to feel like a rookie all over again when he went through the Packers' full practice Friday. "You've got to hear everybody talking about, 'Who's the new guy out here at practice?"' Woodson said of the playful ribbing he took from teammates. Woodson, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, hadn't participated in all phases of a practice since he broke a toe in the Packers' opening win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 8. The injury didn't prevent Woodson from playing in any games the last two months, but he had been excused from on-field work on most practice days. "Just visiting with him yesterday, he felt that he was back to where he would like to practice, instead of doing all of his work on treadmills and so forth," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said after practice Friday. "It was good for him to get some live reps today."	Analysis: Besides running on a treadmill and working out in the weight room, Woodson stayed busy away from the practice field by running in the team's training pool at Lambeau Field the last few weeks. "That helps out a great deal; it takes a lot of stress off of it," said Woodson, referring to the fractured small toe on his right foot. As far as Woodson can tell, the toe no longer is broken. "I haven't taken another X-ray in about, I guess, three or four weeks," he said. "The way it feels, it's got to be right." In a change from earlier in the season, Woodson doesn't need to wear a shoe with a hole cut out of the side, which gave the toe some relief. Woodson said, though, he would continue to wear a cast-like shield over his right shoe on gameday as a way to protect the toe from further damage. "It gets a little sore, but I guess that's to be expected," Woodson said. "But, as far as broke, I think it's good." Continue to view Woodson as a solid No. 2 or No. 3 Fantasy DB.

News: The Green Bay Packers should be in good shape for their Sunday night game against Dallas, listing running back Ryan Grant and cornerback Charles Woodson as probable on the injury report. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said after practice Friday that Grant and Woodson would play Sunday. Woodson didn't practice the entire week to rest a broken right toe, but he was on a similar schedule last week and responded with one of the best performances of his 11-year pro career. Woodson intercepted two passes late in the game, returning the second for a touchdown to seal the Packers' 48-25 win at Detroit. "I'd be surprised if he doesn't (play Sunday)," McCarthy said.	Analysis: McCarthy added he's never coached a player who had the resilience of Woodson to miss significant time in practice because of injury and manage to play so well. "To do it off of the film study and the meetings and the walkthroughs and things like that, I haven't seen anybody perform at that level," McCarthy said. "He's also experienced, too. He has a ton of experience and is a very smart football player. But, the ability to pull it all together and deal with the pain threshold and things like that, I think it's very unique what he's been able to do." Woodson didn't play in the Packers' late-season loss at Dallas last year after injuring a different toe in the previous game. Still, consider him a No. 2 Fantasy DB for Week 3.

News: After helping the Green Bay Packers turn a blown lead into a big victory at Detroit on Sunday, cornerback Charles Woodson wasn't basking in the two interceptions he made or looking for a pat on the back for the fact that he did so with a broken toe. Instead of gloating about the touchdown he scored, Woodson was beating himself up about the one he gave up to Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Woodson tried to break up the pass but Johnson made a juggling catch. "I don't know if I hit his hand or the ball, I'm not sure," Woodson said. "I should've picked it. I got two interceptions, but that's what I think about."	Analysis: A safety on a botched punt by the Packers and another touchdown catch by Johnson allowed the Lions to take a 25-24 lead with 7:41 left in the game. But Woodson played a major role in making sure the Lions' momentum didn't last, picking off a pair of passes and running one back for a touchdown as the Packers reeled off 24 straight points in the final 5:17 of the game to win 48-25 and start the season 2-0. Not bad for a 31-year-old guy who sat out practice last week because of the broken toe that continues to bother him. Woodson said the injury still hurts, and he wasn't sure what his availability would be for practice this week. Head coach Mike McCarthy said team doctor Pat McKenzie didn't think Woodson made the injury any worse by playing on Sunday. "Dr. McKenzie felt that he came out of the game fine, that there wasn't any further damage," McCarthy said. "So we'll see how he feels Wednesday morning." If healthy Week 3 against Dallas, consider Woodson a decent No. 2 or No. 3 Fantasy DB.

News: Despite the Green Bay Packers' recent improvement on defense, DB Charles Woodson isn't satisfied. The Packers have won three straight games - against non-playoff teams San Francisco and Minnesota - and have a chance to finish the season with a .500 record and even a shot at the postseason going into the regular season finale. However, Woodson doesn't believe success against struggling teams means there's been a dramatic turnaround. "It's been improvement, but we're nowhere near where we can be," Woodson said. Woodson said it would have been easy for players to lose focus and give up on the season after the 38-10 loss at home to the Jets on Dec. 3. But they didn't, and now they have something to play for. The likelihood that Woodson, who has been nursing a bruised left knee, will be cleared for the game increased Friday when he practiced for the first time this week. Afterward, the team upgraded the four-time Pro Bowler from doubtful to questionable on the injury report. "He looked pretty good, even with limited reps. We're hopeful he'll go Sunday," coach Mike McCarthy said. "Post-practice treatment will tell us about it, but he looked like he felt fine."	Analysis: Woodson aggravated the injury in the 31-14 victory over Arizona last Sunday. He landed awkwardly after leaping to try to break up a deep pass in the first quarter. If Woodson does play against the Bills, he'll be limited to playing defense.He would be a decent No. 2 or No. 3 Fantasy DB, if he were to play.

He later returned and had an interception in the game.	Analysis: It looks as though Woodson playing on an injured knee might have increased the severity of the injury. This couldn't have come at worst time. Woodson is coming off back-to-back spectacular performances, where he had an interception in both games -- his first two of the season. He was finally regaining the form that made him one of the most feared cornerbacks in the league when he was in Oakland. Consider Woodson a longshot to play in Week 9 against the Bills, but do keep an eye on his injury status as the week goes on. He would be a decent No. 2 or No. 3 Fantasy DB, if he were to play.

News: The Packers will need time and further testing to determine how serious the injuries are to three players. RB Brandon Miree hyperextended his left elbow, TE David Martin received an X-ray for a hit on his jaw, and RB Vernand Morency did something to his lower back that McCarthy considered "a concern." McCarthy wasn't sure right after the game if Martin might have suffered a broken jaw. Miree was hurt on a tackle by Arizona linebacker Gerald Hayes. Also, DB Charles Woodson left with a left knee injury in the first quarter but returned to play, as did DL Corey Williams, who left in the second quarter with a right knee injury but returned. WR Donald Driver hurt his ankle in the fourth quarter but it isn't considered serious. DB Nick Collins left for some time with cramps.	Analysis: Driver's injury doesn't appear serious, so consider him a safe start for Week 9 against Buffalo. Keep an eye on Morency before putting him in your lineup, although don't expect another 100-yard rushing day as long as Ahman Green remains healthy. As for the other injured players, continue to monitor their status throughout the week.

McCarthy said Woodson would be further evaluated Thursday before a determination is made on his playing status. He's questionable for the game. The defense would figure to be at a major disadvantage if Woodson can't go because it would have an inexperienced replacement at left cornerback. The options are second-year Patrick Dendy and rookie Will Blackmon, who's bidding to make his long-awaited pro debut. Blackmon was sidetracked at the outset of the season by complications from a broken foot he sustained in May. He returned to practice on a full-time basis last week but suffered a shin injury related to the foot and is questionable for Sunday. McCarthy acknowledged Wednesday that he's leery about giving Blackmon a significant role in his first outing because of the limited work for the fourth-round draft pick.	Analysis: The Packers defense was in trouble before the Woodson news came down, now they could be heading toward the self-destruct button without him in the secondary. The Packers DST is a poor play regardless, even with the struggling Dolphins offense coming to town for Week 7.
