News: Atlanta WR Marty Booker had a rare solid game in the Week 16 win over Buffalo. Booker connected with QB Matt Ryan for a 12-yard TD catch in the 3rd quarter. He finished the game with four catches for 57 yards and the score. Booker also rushed once for 7 yards.
Analysis: Booker absolutely went off in Week 16, for his standards. Hes not expected to produce this much offense and that means hes not worth owning in Fantasy play for Week 17 at Tampa Bay.
News: Falcons WR Marty Booker made an 8-yard catch in Week 15.
Analysis: Booker is no longer a relevant passing threat and Fantasy owners need not worry about him. Leave him on waivers for Week 16 vs. Buffalo.
News: Falcons WR Marty Booker had his second-best performance of the season on Sunday in a Week 14 loss to the Saints, which isnt saying much. Booker caught three passes and gained 23 yards.
Analysis: Booker is no longer a relevant passing threat and Fantasy owners need not worry about him. Leave him on waivers for Week 15 at the Jets.
News: Falcons WR Marty Booker had one catch for 4 yards Sunday against the Eagles.
Analysis: Booker is a low-end Fantasy WR in all leagues. Don't plan on using him in any formats in Week 14 against New Orleans.
News: Atlanta RB Aaron Stecker and WR Marty Booker failed to stat in the Week 12 win over Tampa Bay. Both were active.
Analysis: Stecker is clearly not going to be a factor in Fantasy this season. Michael Turner was injured in this game and Jason Snelling didn't even get any extra touches. Stecker is way out of the loop. Leave he and Booker on waivers in all leagues for Week 13 against the Eagles.
News: Falcons WR Marty Booker caught one pass for 7 yards in Week 11. He was targeted four times in the game.
Analysis: Booker is not a viable Fantasy wide receiver. He goes not see consistent looks in the offense and is a player who should be left on waivers in all leagues.
News: Atlanta had several players active for the game in Week 10 at Carolina but who did not pick up any stats. That list includes: FB Ovie Mughelli, FB Verron Haynes, WR Marty Booker, TE Keith Zinger, WR Troy Bergeron and backup QB Chris Redman.
Analysis: None of these players are worth owning in Fantasy play at this time. Leave them all on waivers for Week 11.
News: Atlanta WR Marty Booker made one reception for 9 yards in the Week 9 win over Washington.
Analysis: Booker has two catches since Week 4 of the season and has five on the year for 73 yards with no scores. He is not a viable Fantasy option for Atlanta. Keep him on waivers for Week 10 at Carolina. The last time he faced the Panthers, in Week 2, he caught two passes for 42 yards, his best game of the season. He will not duplicate that.
News: Falcons RB Ovie Mughelli, WR Marty Booker, WR Brian Finneran, TE Keith Zinger and QB Chris Redman didn't record offensive statistics Week 8 at New Orleans.
Analysis: None of these players ever does enough statistically to matter in Fantasy. Leave them all on waivers.
News: Falcons WR Marty Booker caught one pass for 14 yards at Dallas in Week 7. He now has five catches on the year, his last one coming in Week 3.
Analysis: Booker is too low on the depth chart to make a significant Fantasy contribution. He won't make more than one or two catches per game. Leave him on waivers for Week 8 against the Seahawks.
News: Backup QB Chris Redman, WR Marty Booker, WR Eric Weems, FB Verron Haynes and TE Keith Zinger did not record an offensive statistic in Week 6 vs. Chicago.
Analysis: None of the players on this list are expected to have any Fantasy appeal this season. Leave them on the waiver wire until further notice.
News: Atlanta WR Marty Booker (abdomen) is active for Week 6 on Sunday night against his former team the Bears.
Analysis: Booker often goes without stats as his best NFL days are behind him. Leave him on waivers in all Fantasy leagues.
News: Falcons TE Keith Zinger, WR Eric Weems, RB Ovie Mughelli and WR Marty Booker didn't record offensive statistics Week 5 at San Francisco.
Analysis: None of these players ever does enough statistically to matter in Fantasy. Leave them all on waivers.
News: In the Falcons' Week 3 loss at the Patriots, WR Marty Booker (17 yards on two catches), WR Brian Finneran (23 yards on two catches) and Jason Snelling (3-yard rush, 41 yards on three catches) helped the team out with minimal stats.
Analysis: Typically these guys are role players and not consistent Fantasy options; they're owned in zero percent of CBSSports.com leagues. The Falcons are on bye in Week 4 but play at San Francisco in Week 5. Keep these guys off rosters unless you're especially desperate for help.
News: Falcons WR Marty Booker caught two passes for 42 yards in Week 2 vs. Carolina. Booker had not had a catch in Week 1.
Analysis: Despite the pair of catches, Booker is not a player we recommend in Fantasy. He does not see enough targets to be considered useful in Fantasy.
News: Falcons WR Eric Weems, WR Marty Booker, WR Brian Finneran, TE Justin Peelle and QB Chris Redman all dressed for a Week 1 win over the Dolphins, but didn't record a stat.
Analysis: None of these players have any Fantasy value heading into Week 2 vs. Carolina.
News: The Falcons signed receivers Marty Booker and Robert Ferguson on Thursday. Ferguson has played seven seasons with Green Bay and Minnesota. Booker, entering his 11th NFL season, was signed Thursday night.
Analysis: The 11-year veteran Booker has spent time with the Bears and Dolphins in his career. He has 116 starts, racking up 523 receptions for 6,522 yards and 36 touchdowns. Booker was cut by Chicago in February after a disappointing 2008 season. Booker had just 14 catches for 211 yards and two touchdowns while bothered by knee, hamstring and rib problems. He missed three games late in the season and didn't catch a pass the final two. Booker could be a factor in the fall for Atlanta, barring any more health setbacks. Unfortunately, he remains just a low-end, injury-risk Fantasy flier since he has a long way to go to earning back our trust.
News: The Chicago Bears released WR Marty Booker on Friday, cutting ties with a former Pro Bowl selection who struggled with injuries last season. Booker had just 14 catches for 211 yards and two touchdowns while bothered by knee, hamstring and rib problems. He missed three games late in the season and didn't catch a pass the final two. He signed a two-year deal last March after spending the previous four seasons in Miami. Booker spent his first five seasons in Chicago before getting dealt to the Dolphins in August 2004. He's tied for third on the Bears' career list with 329 receptions and ranks sixth with 3,895 yards receiving. In his career, Booker has 523 receptions for 6,522 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Analysis: Booker has minimal Fantasy value coming into this year even if he signs with another team. Keep an eye on where he ends up, but ignore Booker on Draft Day.
News: The Chicago Bears have announced the Week 15 inactives for their game against New Orleans. Not in uniform will be: QB Caleb Hanie (third QB), WR Devin Aromashodu, RB Garrett Wolfe, FB Jason McKie, G Terrence Metcalf, WR Brandon Rideau, WR Marty Booker and De Ervin Baldwin.
Analysis: Booker is the only player in this list with any Fantasy value, but his is minimal at best. Ignore all of these guys for the foreseeable future.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker was among those not practicing on Tuesday as the team prepares for their Thursday night game vs. New Orleans as part of Week 15 action. He is sidelined with a rib injury.
Analysis: Booker had three catches for 28 yards Sunday against Jacksonville and really isn't a regular part of the Bears' offense. Keep him off of Fantasy rosters.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker had three catches for 28 yards Sunday against Jacksonville.
Analysis: Booker is a low-end Fantasy WR and should not be used in Week 15 against New Orleans on Thursday night.
News: The Chicago Bears have announced the Week 13 inactives for their game at Minnesota. Not in uniform will be: QB Caleb Hanie (third QB), RB Thomas Jones, RB Jason McKie, DL Matt Toeaina, WR Brandon Rideau, WR Marty Booker and DL Ervin Baldwin.
Analysis: Booker is the only player in this list with any Fantasy value, but his is minimal and he was questionable coming in. Ignore all of these guys for the foreseeable future.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker saw limited practice on Thursday and Friday, an upgrade from his Wednesday workload, which was nil. He's listed as questionable for Week 13 at Minnesota with a knee problem.
Analysis: Booker typically isn't productive enough to warrant Fantasy use. He should be nothing more than a low-end reserve on rosters in the deepest of Fantasy Football leagues.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker saw limited practice on Thursday, an upgrade from his Wednesday workload, which was nil. He's still considered questionable for Week 13 at Minnesota with a knee problem.
Analysis: Booker typically isn't productive enough to warrant Fantasy use. He should be nothing more than a low-end reserve on rosters in the deepest of Fantasy Football leagues.
News: The Bears have listed the following players as being inactive for Week 12 at St. Louis: QB Caleb Hanie (3rd QB), DB Marcus Hamilton, RB Kevin Jones, LB Darrell McClover, DL Matt Toeaina, WR Earl Bennett, WR Marty Booker and DL Ervin Baldwin.
Analysis: In his second stint with the Bears after spending the past four seasons with Miami, Booker has just 11 receptions for 183 yards and two touchdowns and has not caught a pass the past three games. His last reception was against Minnesota on Oct. 19. He obviously has little to no Fantasy value when healthy. The other players on this list have no Fantasy value at this time.
News: Chicago Bears receiver Marty Booker will miss the game at St. Louis Week 12 because of a knee injury.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker, FB Jason McKie and TE Kellen Davis all dressed for Chicago's Week 11 loss to the Packers but failed to record an offensive stat.
Analysis: Booker has minimal value in deeper leagues, but McKie and Davis are useless. Ignore them all in Week 12 at St. Louis.
News: Chicago WR Marty Booker started in Week 10 against Tennessee but did not record a catch or stat for the second week in a row.
Analysis: Booker doesn't have more than three catches in any game this season for the Bears. He is not considered worthy of starting in Fantasy in anything but the deepest of leagues. The Bears play at Green Bay in Week 11.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker took in some rest Wednesday and did not practice with the team. He is considered probable for Week 10 vs. Tennessee.
Analysis: Booker is expected to lose some reps to WR Brandon Lloyd, who should return to the starting lineup this week. Booker's history with Rex Grossman notwithstanding, consider the veteran wideout an unreliable starting option in Week 10.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker went without an offensive statistic Week 9 against the Lions. He battled a knee injury leading up to a game.
Analysis: Booker started, so the knee injury likely didn't hinder his performance. His ability did, though, and he remains an unreliable receiver for Fantasy purposes. The Bears host the Titans in Week 10.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker will play Week 9 against the Lions even though he had a knee injury leading up to the game.
Analysis: Booker is last-ditch receiving pickup off the waiver wire on most weeks and usually doesn't matter in Fantasy. He has a nice matchup this week against the Lions, but we still recommend benching him.
News: Chicago WR Marty Booker caught three passes for 79 yards to lead the Bears in receiving in Week 7's win over the Vikings. Booker caught a 51-yard touchdown pass that made the score 41-31 with 2:35 left in the third quarter.
Analysis: Booker is a fair last-ditch receiving pickup off the waiver wire on most weeks and is not usually recommended in Fantasy. That goes double in Week 8 because Chicago is on bye.
News: Chicago WRs Rashied Davis and Marty Booker are active for Week 7 against the Vikings. Bears receiver Brandon Lloyd is not active, however.
Analysis: Davis has posted some decent weeks, and so long as Kyle Orton continues to play well and the Bears go without WR Brandon Lloyd, you can expect Davis to get several three- and four-catch games. Is it enough to warrant Fantasy use? Only in deeper leagues, but he has sleeper written all over him when he plays vs. Minnesota in Week 7 because the Vikings are stiff vs. the run but shaky vs. the pass. Booker is looked at in an almost identical way.
News: In a 22-20 loss at Atlanta in Week 6, notable Bears performers included: RB Kevin Jones (3 rush yards), FB Jason McKie (one rush, zero yards) and WR Marty Booker (33 yards on three catches).
Analysis: None of these players are worth starting on a regular basis because of their limited stats. Jones is a good insurance policy for Forte, and Booker is a fair last-ditch receiving pickup off the waiver wire, but they're not worth starting. The Bears host the Vikings in Week 7.
News: In the Bears' 34-7 win at the Lions, notable contributors included: RB Kevin Jones (36 rush yards, 5 yards receiving), RB Garrett Wolfe (15 rush yards), WR Marty Booker (37 yards receiving) and TE Desmond Clark (17 yards on two grabs).
Analysis: None of these players are worth starting on a regular basis because they put up stats like this. Jones is a decent insurance policy for owners relying on Matt Forte, and Booker figures to see playing time so long as starter Brandon Lloyd is hurt, but these guys aren't worth owning otherwise. The Bears play at the Falcons in Week 6.
News: The Bears officially made WR Brandon Lloyd inactive for Week 5 at Detroit, giving his starting spot to WR Marty Booker.
Analysis: Booker is only worth starting if you're desperate for a receiver this week. Lloyd shouldn't be in any active lineups.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker (knee) took limited practice reps Friday after sitting out the previous two days and is listed as questionable for Week 5 at Detroit. Booker has been active for the first four games and even had his first touchdown Week 4 against the Eagles.
Analysis: Whether or not Booker plays Week 5, it doesn't appear as though he will be missed much by Chicago or in Fantasy. Booker has not made that much of an impact since returning to Chicago and has just three catches. He is not a recommended Fantasy WR at this time.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker (knee) did not practice for a second straight day Thursday as the team prepares for Week 5 at Detroit.
News: Bears WRs Brandon Lloyd and Marty Booker missed practice Wednesday as Chicago prepares for their Week 5 game at Detroit.
Analysis: Both Lloyd and Booker hurt their knees in a Week 4 win over the Eagles. Lloyd was a hot pickup last week after putting up 124 yards and a touchdown in Week 3, but his injury appears to be more severe then Booker's as he actually left the game against Philadelphia. Continue to monitor their status as the week progresses, because both could be useful low-end No. 3 Fantasy WRs or 'flex' options against the sorry Lions defense.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker caught just his third pass in four games Week 4 against the Eagles, but it went for a 23-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He also ran the ball once for three yards.
Analysis: Booker is old and clearly not an integral part of the Bears offense. If Brandon Lloyd's knee injury ends up serious, Booker might play a bigger role on offense, but still not enough of one to matter in Fantasy. The Bears visit the Lions in Week 5.
News: Bears WR Mark Bradley, TE Kellen Davis, RB Adrian Peterson, WR Marty Booker and backup QB Rex Grossman didn't record offensive statistics Week 3 vs. Tampa Bay
Analysis: Peterson, Bradley and Grossman have had Fantasy appeal in the past, but they're just second- and third-string options now. None of these players deserves a roster spot in Fantasy. The Bears host the Eagles in Week 4
News: Notable Bears players from Week 2 at Carolina include: WR Rashied Davis (17-yard rush, 11 yards receiving), RB Kevin Jones (one carry, zero yards) and WR Marty Booker (4-yard catch).
Analysis: None of these players are expected to produce significant stats on a regular basis to begin with. Keep them off of Fantasy active lineups until further notice. The Bears host the Buccaneers in Week 3.
News: Bears WR Marty Booker had just a seven-yard grab in his return to the Bears in Week 1 at Indianapolis after spending spending four seasons in Miami. He didn't start either.
Analysis: No Bears WR has a solid place on the depth chart, but Booker didn't exactly improve his standing with his performance Sunday. You can't expect the 32-year-old to make much of a Fantasy impact this season, especially playing in a run-first offense. Leave him on waivers for Week 2 at Carolina.
News: The Chicago Daily Herald reports Bears WR Marty Booker, who was signed in the offseason as a free agent after becoming a salary cap casualty in Miami, returns to the Bears as something of a mystery. No one can say for sure how he'll fit into a passing game in transition. He could be the No. 1 receiver, or he could be lost in the shuffle. Fourteen players caught passes in the preseason opener, but Booker wasn't one of them. He dropped his only opportunity, a short sideline route. "We need to see a little more from Marty," a member of the Bears' brain trust said anonymously in the newspaper. Booker has not had much of an impact so far, but coaches are well aware of his abilities. His 509 career receptions are 47 more than the next three Bears combined.
Analysis: For the second straight week, Booker and Brandon Lloyd are listed as co-starters at one wide receiver position on the Bears' depth chart, while Devin Hester and Rashied Davis are both listed at the other starting wideout spot. The entire position was blurred coming into training camp, but it could be a lot more clear after Saturday's game at Seattle. Booker hopes to make an impact, and if he does, he's worth drafting with a late-round pick in all leagues.
News:The Sports Xchange notes that Marty Booker was shut out in the preseason opener against Kansas City, dropping the only ball thrown in his vicinity.
Analysis: Don't read too much into that stat as it is only the preseason. He is guaranteed a roster spot out of training camp and could be a decent sleeper in 2008 if he relives past glory. Take him as a No. 4 Fantasy option and hope it works out.
News:The Sports Xchange reports Bears WR Marty Booker has replaced Muhsin Muhammad as the elder statesman among the receiving corps, and while the 31-year-old Booker might not make as much of a show of it, he's a more legitimate mentor to the younger wideouts than his predecessor, who was known for tossing teammates under the bus. "Marty's not a real vocal guy, but he leads pretty much by example," wide receivers coach Darryl Drake said. "Guys can go to him, and he's not one of those guys who isn't going to give the guys the time that they need. He knows a few little tricks of the trade as far as it relates to getting open, and he's constantly sharing those things with those guys."
Analysis: Booker can be an extension of the coaching staff on the field in the heat of battle. "Sometimes that's real important because as a coach, you tell a guy something over and over again, but I'm not out there playing," Drake said. "Sometimes a guy that's out there can give them a little bit more insight or confirm some of the things that I've been telling them." Although he was overshadowed by others at times, Booker shared the go-to role with wideout Chris Chambers and tight end Randy McMichael during his first three seasons in Miami. Although the Bears have yet to announce their depth chart during training camp, it is expected that Booker will start the season as Chicago's top wide out. That is not necessarily a top prize since the Bears have suspect QB play. Booker could be a decent sleeper in 2008 if he relives past glory. Take him as a No. 4 Fantasy option and hope it works out.
News: The Chicago Daily Herald reports Bears WR Marty Booker doesn't care if Rex Grossman or Kyle Orton is the starter in 2008. Since 1999, Booker's first season with the Bears -- when he had to adjust to Shane Matthews, Cade McNown and Jim Miller all starting games -- playing with multiple quarterbacks has been routine for Booker. In all, on NFL fields over nine seasons he has played catch with 17 different quarterbacks, some of them no longer in the NFL. Booker isn't stressing over a possible quarterback controversy when the Bears open their three-day minicamp Friday. "Dude, in my career I've had like almost 20 different quarterbacks (17 actually), so as far as adjusting to anybody, that's not a problem," he said. "That's the least of everything." Booker was the Dolphins' leading receiver last season with 50 catches for 556 yards.
Analysis: Although he was overshadowed by others at times, Booker shared the go-to role with wideout Chris Chambers and tight end Randy McMichael during his first three seasons in Miami. Although he will turn 32 during training camp this summer, Booker returns to the Bears in the same capacity in which he left -- as the No. 1 receiver. The Bears lost their top two receivers in the offseason when Bernard Berrian signed with the Minnesota Vikings and Muhsin Muhammad was released to loosen up the salary cap. Booker was signed to help fill the void. "Whenever you lose a playmaker it's a little unsettling," Bears coach Lovie Smith said. "But getting Marty Booker back will help." Booker could be a decent sleeper in 2008 if he relives past glory. Take him as a No. 4 Fantasy option and hope it works out.
News: The Chicago Bears reacquired free agent wide receiver Marty Booker on Tuesday to help replenish a depleted receiving corp. Booker, who was the Miami Dolphins' leading receiver last season, signed a two-year deal with Chicago. Booker had 50 catches for 556 yards last season.
Analysis: Booker is fifth in Bears history in catches with 315 in five seasons from 1999-2003. Booker's 3,684 receiving yards are sixth in Bears history and the 1999 third-round draft pick out of Louisiana-Monroe is ninth in TD catches for the Bears with 23. Although he posted two 1,000-yard seasons with Chicago (2001-02), he's not going to be any better than a middle-end reserve WR in standard Fantasy play. Because he's expected to shake out as a high-reception receiver with the Bears, he'll be taken with a late-round pick in most drafts this summer.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that former Dolphins WR Marty Booker has received requests for visits from several teams, but he has reportedly reached out to the Chicago Bears and wants to play there if he has his choice.
Analysis: In Chicago, Booker's reliable hands would be considered a plus as a move-the-chains type of receiver. He also had two 1,000-yard seasons with the Bears, a rarity for any wideout in the Windy City. Even though he was a Fantasy afterthought for most of his tenure with the Dolphins, Booker could re-emerge as a decent reserve in 2008. We'll continue to monitor his future.
News: The Miami Dolphins released WR Marty Booker on Monday as part of what's expected to be plenty of offseason moves for the team. Booker had a disappointing year in 2007. After catching 55 passes for 747 yards and six touchdowns in 2006, Booker's stats dropped. He finished the year with 50 catches for 556 yards and one touchdown.
Analysis: Booker has minimal Fantasy value heading into 2008, but keep an eye on where he ends up if another team decides to sign him. For now, don't plan on drafting Booker in any leagues next season.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker had a disappointing year in 2007. After catching 55 passes for 747 yards and six touchdowns in 2006, Booker's stats dropped. He finished the year with 50 catches for 556 yards and one touchdown. Booker had to deal with becoming the No. 1 option when the Dolphins traded Chris Chambers and dealt with three quarterbacks. Trent Green (concussion) was injured, and Miami went with young options in Cleo Lemon and rookie John Beck.
Analysis: It is unknown if Booker will return to the Dolphins next season. Miami's wide receivers need an overhaul, and the Dolphins have young options in Ted Ginn Jr. and Derek Hagan that need to see the field. Booker is the most experienced wide receiver for Miami, but he's also going to be 32 next year. He will have minimal Fantasy value and should not be drafted in any leagues in 2008.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker was held to one, nine-yard catch as Miami completed the worst season in franchise history with a 38-25 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Analysis: Booker had only one game this season with more than five catches and basically lost the No. 1 WR job to rookie Ted Ginn Jr. after Chris Chambers' departure. Booker signed a seven-year extension with the Dolphins in 2002, so it's likely he will we back next season, although he was mentioned in trade talks before this season began.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker caught three balls for 29 yards in Miami's 28-7 loss to the Patriots in Week 16.
Analysis: Booker had a huge game in Week 15 (8-88), but couldn't replicate those stats on Sunday as Cleo Lemon struggled. Leave him alone in Week 17 against the Bengals, despite his nice matchup.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker caught eight passes for 88 yards in Miami's 22-16 overtime win over the Ravens in Week 15. The totals are his best since he caught eight for 103 and a touchdown in the last Dolphins win before Sunday, a 21-0 shutout of the Patriots in Week 14 last season.
Analysis: Eight catches for Booker equals a Dolphins win apparently, as the two times he has reached that mark, the Dolphins have won. Don't panic and grab Booker off the wire though, as he faces the Patriots in Week 16 and had only three catches for 28 yards against them earlier this season at home.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker (knee) is listed as probable for Week 15 vs. Baltimore. He went through full practice reps all week. Booker was inactive Week 14 against the Bills. He has just 38 catches for 430 yards and one touchdown this season.
Analysis: Booker doesn't have the stats of a No. 1 WR because the Dolphins have been a pretty pathetic passing offense since Trent Green went down with a season-ending concussion. Booker is expected back in the lineup Week 15, but is merely a desperation Fantasy WR.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker (knee) went through a full practice Wednesday and Thursday as the team prepares for Week 15 vs. Baltimore.
News: Dolphins DB Michael Lehan (groin), RB Jesse Chatman (ankle), LB Channing Crowder (foot), WR Marty Booker (knee), DE Matt Roth (groin), LB Mark Washington (coach's decision) and DT Anthony Bryant (coach's decision) were all named inactive for Miami's Week 14 game at Buffalo. For the Bills, DB Jerametrius Butler (calf), LB Coy Wire (neck), DE Chris Kelsay (ankle), DR Copeland Bryan (knee), RB William Shaud (coach's decision), FB Ryan Neufeld (coach's decision) and emergency third QB Gibran Hamdan were also named inactive.
Analysis: The Dolphins are a complete mess as Booker, Chatman and Crowder, who all have Fantasy value, are all inactive. Derek Hagan, Samkon Gado and Donnie Spragan will start instead. None of the Bills inactives who weren't already declared out earlier this week have any Fantasy value.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker (knee) is listed as questionable for Week 14 at Buffalo. He took limited practice reps Wednesday and Friday. He sat out Thursday. Booker, who has assumed the role of No. 1 WR since Chris Chambers was traded to San Diego, has 38 catches for 430 yards and one touchdown in 12 games.
Analysis: Booker doesn't have the stats of a No. 1 WR because the Dolphins have been a pretty pathetic passing offense since Trent Green went down with a season-ending concussion. Now that rookie John Beck is under center, the Dolphins' passing offense has really suffered. Booker is merely a low-end Fantasy reserve heading into Week 14, if healthy.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker (knee) went through limited practice reps Wednesday, but did not practice Thursday as the team prepares for Week 14 at Buffalo. Booker, who has assumed the role of No. 1 WR since Chris Chambers was traded to San Diego, has 38 catches for 430 yards and one touchdown in 12 games.

News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker caught four passes for 36 yards in a 40-13 loss to the Jets in Week 13.
Analysis: Booker is an OK veteran WR, but he is stuck in an awful system in Miami. Do not start him in Week 14 against the Bills.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker had a team-high 54 yards receiving Week 12 at Pittsburgh. He also returned a kick three yards and threw an incomplete pass.
Analysis: Ted Ginn Jr. more so than Booker has stepped up following the departure of Chris Chambers. The 54 yards Monday represent Booker's highest total since September, so leave him on waivers for Week 13 against the Jets.
News: Dolphins veteran WR Marty Booker made one catch for 19 yards in Miami's 17-7 loss to the Eagles in Week 11.
Analysis: Booker made up for his drops last week with a very nice grab during the fourth quarter, but spent most of the game not getting targeted from rookie QB John Beck. His value just keeps decreasing every week and should only be used in very dire injury situations in Week 12 when Miami plays at Pittsburgh.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker had two catches for 16 yards in Miami's 13-10 loss to the Bills in Week 10, but he also had just as many key drops in the game.
Analysis: Booker was just plain brutal on Sunday, but to be fair, he did get poked in the eye at one point, so maybe his depth perception was knocked a little off kilter. Booker should not be starting at any format at this point, but if John Beck gets a start here and there, his fortunes might improve. Until then, leave him on the bench in Week 11 when the Dolphins head to Philadelphia.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker had three catches in Week 3 vs. the Giants in a game played in London's Wembley Stadium. He also fumbled the exchange on a trick play when he lined up under center on a third-and-one play.
Analysis: Booker's fumble likely negated his little output in most Fantasy leagues. The good news is that he is only starting in six percent of CBSSports.com leagues. In Week 9, that number should be zero because the Dolphins are on a bye. In Week 10, that number shouldn't rise much.
News: Dolphins WR Marty Booker caught three passes for 28 yards in Miami's 49-28 loss to New England in Week 7.
Analysis: Booker fell victim to Cleo Lemon really spreading the ball around in the rout against the Patriots, and expect that trend to continue. Consequently, Booker is not worth starting except in the deepest of deep Fantasy leagues. Miami faces the Giants in London in Week 8.
News: Dolphins WRs Derek Hagan (three catches, 30 yards), Marty Booker (two catches, 24 yards) and Ted Ginn Jr. (one catch, 32 yards) all made contributions in Miami's 41-31 loss to the Browns in Week 6. Ginn also had a kick return touchdown called back for holding.

He's a quality NFL option, albeit nowhere near the level of the Marvin Harrisons of the league. "My body doesn't respond well to injures like it used to." Wes Welker would be promoted to No. 2 receiver if Booker is unable to play.

All but nine of his receptions resulted in first downs, and his yards-per-catch average of 17.6 was 49 percent higher than his career average entering the 2005 campaign. "I showed another dimension in my game," Booker said. "If I can build on that and do the intermediate stuff too, that's a big plus for me. I know (Culpepper) is going to spread the ball around and there are going to be opportunities." Use a late-round choice on him in those deeper leagues (ones that start three or more WRs).
