News: The Cardinals began to cut their roster down to 75 players Friday, after Thursday's preseason game against the Titans. Among the players on the way out were: wide receivers Gino Crump, and Tre Gray and Jaymar Johnson; running backs Jared Crank, Thomas Clayton and Reagan Maui'a; defensive backs Eddie Elder, Marshay Green and James Nixon; linebackers Marcus McGraw, Zack Nash and Paul Vassallo; and defensive lineman Landon Cohen.
Analysis: These are all guys who were on the fringe of the roster or dealing with injuries, so none of them were expected to make an impact in Fantasy this season. Ignore them in all formats.
News: The Patriots waived DL Landon Cohen on Tuesday. Cohen had been promoted to the 53-man roster last week.
Analysis: Cohen was added for some quick roster depth. He was no longer needed and was therefore cut. That about wraps up how much Fantasy appeal he has.
News: The Patriots signed DB Phillip Adams and DL Landon Cohen on Wednesday to take the roster spots of Dan Koppen (leg) and Myron Pryor (shoulder), who were placed on IR.
Analysis: Adams and Cohen will provide depth to the Patriots defense, but neither player is expected to make much of a Fantasy impact. Ignore tbem in all formats.

News: Veteran RB Sammy Morris was one of several cuts by the Patriots on Saturday. Morris re-signed before the season to provide depth at the position but was shown the door, likely because of his age and declining ability. Other Patriots released include: DE Markell Carter, DE Aaron Lavarias, WR Tiquan Underwood, DE Alex Silvestro, LB Niko Koutouvides, RB Eric Kettani and DL Landon Cohen.
Analysis: None of these guys were or are expected to be Fantasy relevant. Leave them off rosters.

News: The Jaguars claimed DL Landon Cohen off waivers from the Lions on Sunday.
Analysis: Cohen is not expected to contribute much, especially as far as Fantasy owners are concerned. Leave him on waivers.
News: The Lions have listed the following players as inactive for Week 10 at Minnesota: LB Ernie Sims (hamstring), CB Anthony Henry, DE Cliff Avril, DT Landon Cohen, RB Aaron Brown and QB Drew Stanton (third QB).
Analysis: Sims, Avril and Henry have some IDP value in deeper leagues, so be sure to bench them for Week 10. All the other guys are not worth worrying about in Fantasy play.
News: The Lions have announced the inactives for their Week 12 game vs. Tampa Bay. Not uniform will be: QB Dan Orlovsky (hand), DB Keith Smith (coach's decision), LB Anthony Cannon (coach's decision), WR Mike Furrey (concussion), DE Landon Cohen (coach's decision) and DE Dewayne White (calf).
Analysis: Those on this list with minimal Fantasy value (Orlovsky and Smith) were already declared out earlier this week, so you should have already made plans to replace them. Continue to ignore all the other guys.

Not in uniform will be: QB Dan Orlovsky (hand), WR Reggie Ball (coach's decision), DB Dwight Smith (foot), FB Jerome Felton (ankle), FB Casey Fitzsimmons (ribs), DT Andre Fluellen (coach's decision) and DE Landon Cohen (coach's decision).
Analysis: Orlovsky had some Fantasy value before getting hurt, but should basically be dropped in all leagues now. Daunte Culpepper will start in his place. None of these other guys have any Fantasy value.
News: Detroit hosts the Redskins in Week 8 and has listed the following players as being inactive and out for the game: QB Drew Henson, DB Dwight Smith, DL Corey Smith, LB Jordon Dizon, DL Andre Fluellen and DL Landon Cohen.
Analysis: None of the players on this list should be considered viable Fantasy option. They are not in a position to contribute regular stats as they aren't in line for regular playing time. They've got some depth chart climbing to do and should be left on the waiver wire.
News: The Detroit Lions have announced the inactives for their Week 7 game at Oakland. Not in uniform will be: WR Reggie Ball, DB Travis Fisher, NT Cedric Darby, DE Corey Smith, DE Landon Cohen and WR John Standeford.

News: The Lions listed the following players as inactive for Week 3: QB Drew Stanton (third QB), DB Ramzee Robinson, LB Jordon Dizon, DL Damion Cook, DL Cliff Avril DL, Andre Fluellen and DL Landon Cohen.
