News: Seattle placed DL Dexter Davis on injured reserve on Saturday before Week 2 at Pittsburgh. Davis is out for the season with a hip injury. The team signed CB Kennard Cox to add to the roster.
Analysis: Cox may see some time on the field this season on Sunday, but he's not expected to put up much production for Fantasy IDP leagues. Ignore him at this time.
News: The Seahawks have signed CB Kennard Cox for the 2011 season. Cox played in 11 games last season, collecting his first-career tackles with seven (four solo) and three special teams tackles. Seattle signed Cox on April 16, 2010 and he was originally selected in the seventh-round (251st overall) by the Buffalo Bills in the 2008 NFL Draft.
Analysis: Cox has minimal Fantasy value heading into 2011. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.
News: Seahawks DB Kennard Cox only recorded one tackle in Week 12 against the Chiefs, but he made a huge play on special teams. He blocked a punt in the first quarter and DB Earl Thomas recovered it and ran it in for a touchdown in the 42-24 loss.
Analysis: Cox is mainly a special teams player for the Seahawks and has minimal Fantasy value at this point. Continue to ignore him in all IDP formats heading into Week 13 against the Panthers.
News: The Seattle Seahawks have signed cornerback Kennard Cox to the active roster, taking the opening left when wide receiver Deion Branch was traded to New England. Cox was signed on Tuesday, a day after Branch was sent back to his original team in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.
Analysis: Cox previously spent two seasons in Jacksonville before joining the Seahawks practice squad. He was released by Seattle on Sept. 14, but was signed back to the practice squad two days later. Williams was with Green Bay during the preseason before becoming part of the Packers' final roster cuts. He is nothing more than roster depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.
News: Seahawks LB Leroy Hill was reinstated by the NFL on Tuesday after serving a one-game suspension stemming from a 2009 marijuana arrest. CB Kennard Cox was released to make room for Hill on the roster.
Analysis: Cox was inactive for Week 1 against the 49ers and has been pretty much roster depth in his career. It's safe to ignore him in Fantasy.
News: The Jaguars listed the following players as inactive for Week 17 at Cleveland: Torry Holt, Rashean Mathis, Cecil Newton, Tra Thomas, Paul McQuistan, Marcedes Lewis, Julius Williams, Kennard Cox.
Analysis: Outside of some low-end appeal for Holt and Lewis, none of the players listed here have much Fantasy value going into the upcoming season. They can be left off Fantasy rosters.
News: The Jaguars have waived DB Kennard Cox and DE James Wyche.
Analysis: Cox was only signed from the practice a couple of days ago, so clearly has no Fantasy value. Wyche is just a backup and is also not worth worrying about.
News: The Jaguars signed first-year DB Kennard Cox to the active roster from the practice squad and placed veteran FB Greg Jones on injured reserve Thursday. Cox had been waived last Friday and he was re-signed to the practice squad on Tuesday of this week. Jones started seven of the first 13 games before injuring his ankle last Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Jones had four carries for 23 yards along with five receptions for 14 yards and added three special teams tackles. He has played in 71 games with 41 starts since being selected in the second round of the 2005 draft.
Analysis: It's safe to release Jones in all leagues, and Cox has minimal Fantasy value in IDP leagues. Hopefully for Jones he can return at 100 percent in 2010, but he has minimal Fantasy value when healthy.
News: The Jaguars have signed first-year defensive end Chris Harrington off Arizona's practice squad and waived first-year defensive back Kennard Cox. The moves on Friday came as the Jaguars continued to look for help along a defensive line that has suffered season-ending injuries to Reggie Hayward, Rob Meier and Bryan Smith. The team also waived defensive tackle Derek Landri last week. The Cardinals drafted the 6-foot-5, 260-pound Harrington in the sixth round in 2008. He spent time on Arizona's practice squad last season before getting signed by Cincinnati and playing three games. The Bengals waived Harrington during final cuts in September and he rejoined Arizona. Cox played in three games this season and spent nine weeks on the practice squad.
Analysis: Neither of these players were or are expected to produce enough stats to warrant Fantasy use. Keep them off of rosters for now.
News: The Jaguars have announced the inactives for their Week 15 game vs. Green Bay. Not in uniform will be: DB Kennard Cox (coach's decision), LB Tim Shaw (coach's decision), WR Jerry Porter (groin), DE Jeremy Mincey (coach's decision), DT Tony McDaniel (toe), DL Atiyyah Ellison (coach's decision) and Alvin Pearman (coach's decision).
Analysis: Porter has minimal Fantasy value and you probably wouldn't have been relying on him in the playoffs anyway. Continue to ignore all these guys.
News: The Jaguars placed reserve LB Chad Nkang on injured reserve Monday because of a shoulder injury and signed rookie Kennard Cox. Nkang began the season on the physically unable to perform list because of a wrist injury.
Analysis: Cox was a seventh-round draft pick by Buffalo in April. He was waived by the Bills in final cuts before the regular season. He doesn't figure to make a Fantasy impact, so leave him on waivers in IDP leagues.
News: The Bills cut their roster down to 75 on Tuesday and among the most notable players released was DB Kennard Cox, reports the team's official website. Also released on Tuesday were punter D.J. Fitzpatrick, receiver C.J. Hawthorne and defensive end Shaun Nua.
Analysis: Cox, a seventh-round draft pick, was way down on the Bills depth chart and would have been ignored in all Fantasy leagues even if he made the team. The rest of the players have no Fantasy value.

News: The Bills announced Tuesday they released four players, including cornerback Kennard Cox, the third of Buffalo's three seventh-round draft picks this year. Also cut were defensive end Shaun Nua and receiver C.J. Hawthorne. Fourth-string quarterback Matt Baker was also released after being placed on the waived-injured list.
Analysis: None of these players were considered reliable Fantasy options in the first place. Steer clear of them until further notice.
News:The Sports Xchange reports that Bills CB Kennard Cox, a rookie out of Pittsburgh who is having a good camp, tweaked an ankle in practice.
Analysis: Cox is way down on the Bills depth chart and should be ignored in all Fantasy leagues.
