Titans defense looking good in Week 9

(11/3/2013) Though seven Titans defensive players were listed on the injury report for Week 9 against the Rams, the team is mostly healthy in time for kickoff Sunday.

Defensive linemen Ropati Pitoitua (calf), Jurrell Casey (ankle) and Derrick Morgan (shoulder) and linebackers Patrick Bailey (hamstring) and Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) are all active for Sunday despite their injuries.  


Titans a bit battered heading into Week 9 game in St. Louis

(11/1/2013) The Titans list two players as out and six others questionable for the game Sunday against the Rams. Those already deemed out are linebacker Moise Fokou (knee) and offensive lineman Robert Turner (shoulder).

Those desginated as questionable are linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring), safety Michael Griffin (quad), wide receiver Justin Hunter (finger), defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (calf), tight end Craig Stevens (back) and tackle David Stewart (shoulder).

Linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring) and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (ankle) are both probable.

Linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring) was joined by defensive linemen Lavar Edwards (shoulder) and Derrick Morgan (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday's game.

(10/13/2013) The Titans have made QB Jake Locker, RB Shonn Greene, CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson, LB Zaviar Gooden, LB Patrick Bailey, C Brian Schwenke and OT Byron Stingly inactice Week 6 against the Seahawks.

Gooden, Greene and Locker were listed as out Friday. Bailry and Wreh-Wilson came into the game listed as questionable.

Among those so listed are linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring), defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill (ankle), defensive end Derrick Morgan (shoulder), cornerback Coty Sensabaugh (concussion), tackle David Stewart (ankle) and cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring).

(10/4/2013) The Friday injury report submitted by the Titans has no surprises. As expected, running back Shonn Greene, quarterback Jake Locker and defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill have all been ruled out for the Sunday game against the Chiefs.

Those listed as questionable are defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (shoulder), tackle David Stewart (calf), linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring) and cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring).

Wide receiver Kenny Britt (neck/ribs) is probable.

Wreh-Wilson was able to practice Friday, while Bailey had to sit out all week.

(8/17/2013) Titans strongside linebacker Akeem Ayers has been removed with an ankle injury during the preseason game Saturday night against the Bengals, reports The Tennesseean. His return is questionable. Ayers had walked off the field on his own. He has been replaced by Patrick Bailey.
