Freeman racking up tackles

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman turned in another productive performance in Week 16 against the Chiefs. Freeman finished with a team-high 10 tackles in the 20-13 win with eight of those being credited as solo stops. He now has 135 tackles on the year.
Analysis: Freeman continues to rack up the tackles for the Colts as he now collected at least 10 in six of his last eight contests. The rookie not only leads the team in tackles, but he also has two sacks, one forced fumble, and a pick-six back in Week 1. Fantasy owners should continue to roll with Freeman as a viable option in most IDP formats in Week 17.

Freeman with another solid game

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman recorded eight tackles to tie with two other players for the team lead in stops on Sunday of Week 14 against the Titans. Freeman helped beat Tennessee with three solo stops in the game.
Analysis: Freeman was already over 100 tackles on the season before the Week 14 game. He now has 115 for the Colts this year, which is his first playing in the NFL. Freeman has been a worthy Fantasy option in most IDP formats.

Freeman has six tackles

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman had a quiet game Sunday at the Lions in Week 13. Freeman had just six tackles, including four solo, and a pass defensed.

Freeman continues awesome play

Freeman rebounds in big way

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman tallied a game-high 12 tackles, including five solo stops, during Indianapolis' 59-24 loss at New England in Week 11. With his fourth outing posting double-digits in tackles, Freeman moved into ninth place in the NFL with 85 total stops.
Analysis: Freeman was a standout at the beginning of the season when serving as a replacement for Pat Angerer, but endured a cold stretch and entered Sunday's game with just four tackles the previous two weeks. But he was able to bounce back and finished with his third-highest tackle total of the year. Fantasy owners should keep Freeman active in most formats as he attempts to regain his standing as a solid option.

Freeman quiet again

News: For the second game in a row, Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman posted a subpar stat line Thursday against the Jaguars in Week 10. The rookie finished with just two tackles for the second straight week, in a 27-10 Colts victory.
Analysis: Freeman had 14 tackles in Week 8, but has just four since them. He is still on pace for well over 100 as a rookie, but that pace has slowed considerable. He is starting to lose Fantasy value, but should remain a viable Fantasy option in most IDP formats.

Freeman silenced vs. Dolphins

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman was limited to just two tackles against the Dolphins in Week 9. Only one of his stops was a solo tackle, in a 23-20 win.
Analysis: Freeman has 14 tackles in his previous game, so this was something of a letdown. He is still on pace for a gigantic tackle total as a rookie, with 71 through the first half of the season. He has emerged as a high-end Fantasy IDP option, despite the poor showing.

Analysis: Freeman has recorded 34 tackles in his last three games combined and has 69 stops on the season for the Colts. He is well on his way to over 100 tackles and also has a sack and an interception return for a TD to his credit. Consider him a worthy Fantasy IDP option in all formats.

Analysis: Freeman has recorded 34 tackles in his last three games and is starting to hit his stride as of late after starting the season with 35 tackles through his first four games. He has three double-digit tackle performances this season and is considered as a solid IDP option in most formats heading into Week 9.

Analysis: Freeman tied his biggest tackling game of the season Sunday and now has 69 tackles on the season for the Colts. Freeman with mediocre effort

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman recorded six tackles in the Week 7 win over the Browns Sunday. Freeman had three solo tackles in the game.
Analysis: Freeman had 14 tackles last week in New York against the Jets and has two double-digit tackling games this season. In fact, his six tackles Week 7 was his lowest production of the year. Freeman should bounce back Week 8 at Tennessee and can be active in plenty of IDP formats.

Freeman continues fast rise

News: Indianapolis linebacker Jerrell Freeman registered a team-high 14 tackles, including one for a loss, during the Colts' 35-8 loss to the Jets in Week 6. Freeman's total also represented a season high as he finished in double digits for the second time.
Analysis: Freeman has soared in his first NFL season and leads Indianapolis with a sterling 49 tackles through the first five games of the year. He will certainly create an issue for the Colts once Pat Angerer returns from injury but for now, Fantasy owners should enjoy his solid production.

Freeman leads Colts in tackles

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman led the Colts with eight tackles in Sunday's 30-27 win over the Packers.
Analysis: Freeman, the first Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusader to play in the NFL, spent the last three seasons in the CFL. He has 35 tackles and one interception (returned for a TD) over four games this season. A rising defensive star for the Colts, Freeman can be started in deeper IDP leagues.

Freeman helping in pinch

News: Indianapolis linebacker Jerrell Freeman posted a team-high nine tackles, including seven solo stops, during the Colts' 22-17 loss to Jacksonville in Week 3. Freeman has now piled up 22 tackles over his past two games while filling in for injured linebacker Pat Angerer.
Analysis: Freeman seems to have taken over seamlessly for Angerer as he's paced the team in tackles the past two weeks. The 26-year-old also has an interception and a sack to his credit as is worth scooping up as an injury replaced for Angerer in most Fantasy IDP formats.

Playing time boosts Freeman

News: Indianapolis linebacker Jerrell Freeman racked up 13 tackles and a sack during the Colts' 23-20 victory over Minnesota in Week 2. Freeman's tackle total easily represented a career high as he recorded one of the team's four sacks on Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder.
Analysis: Freeman, who drew the start again in place of Pat Angerer, followed up a strong debut when he returned an interception for a touchdown. The 26-year-old helped prevent big gains from Adrian Peterson (60 yards) and could be a decent Fantasy replacement while Angerer is injured.

Freeman has first career TD

News: Colts linebacker Jerrell Freeman opened the scoring Week 1 against the Bears when he returned a Jay Cutler interception 4 yards for a touchdown. It was the first score of his career. He finished the game with five solo tackles, including one tackle for loss.
Analysis: Freeman drew the start Week 1 in place of the injured Pat Angerer, who is expected to be sidelined for at least a few more weeks. That makes Freeman just a stopgap Fantasy linebacker until Angerer returns.

Titans make several cuts

News: The Titans made several cuts Friday with QB Ingle Martin, K John Vaughn, DB Cary Williams, WR Edward Williams, DB Tony Joiner, RB Omar Cuff, DB Marquice Cole, DB Tuff Harris and LB Jerrell Freeman among those let go.
Analysis: None of these players have any Fantasy value at this point and should not be owned in any leagues.

Titans waive five

News: The Titans announced Wednesday they had waived five players, including defensive end Bryce Fisher. They picked up Fisher in a trade with Seattle last September, but he only played in nine games and had only nine tackles. They also waived linebacker Jerrell Freeman, receiver Jason Rivers, defensive tackle Eric Taylor and quarterback Paul Thompson.
Analysis: None of the players on this list are currently in a position to help you in Fantasy play. Leave them off rosters until further notice.
